That's how i roll sucka. I'll just stay away from there...seems like a mess and the videos that i watched had a bunch of burnouts and drifting on the public roads. Not my style. It will be a shame if they get shut down when/if something bad happens.

most noteable that i saw was a noble m400 imo. parking kinda sucks all around, if you park in the show everyone who is leaving has to stop and talk to their friends and all that nice BS that makes it take forever to get out. i would say it took us a good 15 mins or more just to get out of the event area. long enough that i just shut off the car

that guy in the r35 was an idiot, parked 3 times where they told him not to, finally he parked in the back, and im sorry but i dont think giovanni dub style wheels belong on a car like that

That's what the horn is for, I had no troubles getting out besides the Dick in the camaro who decided to stop in the middle of the road to do a one wheel wonder burn out in front of me

My experience with the "organizers" thus far has not been encouraging. I'd be happy to bring it up with someone willing to listen if you know the appropriate channel to work through. The folks I tried to talk to were clearly not interested in any opinions of anyone they didn't already know personally. I don't care enough to make finding someone involved that isn't a dbag my own little personal mission.

Yeah... that seems to be a common trend among employers who salary their employees with the expectation that they'll show up to work on time. Jerks.

Who exactly did you talk to? I haven't had these sorts of interactions at all. Quite the opposite actually.

that doesnt look like a side street, where is that? and looks like its only effecting some eurotards, not me.

p.s. anyone else think eurotards have taken over alot of CandC? there are some nice ones but do VW need their own aisel and audi need their own aisel?

Never got names. I wasn't trying to be "that guy" and demand to know who I'm talking to after they blew me off. Tried the guy who was "directing" traffic at the entrance last year, as well as captain hardass who was assigning cars to locations in the event. The former went out of his way to make sure I knew he couldn't possibly care less what I thought. Granted he had his hands full at the time. You know, because about 40 people were parked in and kind of pissed.

The latter seemed a lot more interested in flexing his neck and berating people trying to figure out where they're supposed to park, going so far as to challenge them to fisticuffs on the spot. I'm sure there are some decent people involved, it just shouldn't take that much energy to try and find them. Seriously soured me on the whole experience which is a huge bummer because my first time was totally awesome.

It's a stupid thing to continually "overlook". I'm far from the only person who noticed the wanton douchebaggery every single month. Given the number of people who got screwed over last year, I'm pretty sure they're perfectly aware of how bad it is and simply don't care.

If you've got a line to someone a bit more reasonable I have no problem chatting with them. I just don't think I'm going to tell them anything they don't already know.

Hearing about all of the parking headaches...if i ever decide to go, this is how i will get there. No parking problems for me! I always figured that they had it that early to try to keep the kids away, lol...little did they know that it would backfire on them because that's right around bedtime for them and why wouldn't they stay up an extra hour to see a Lambo omg!

Pete, ill pm you a bit later when I'm not on a phone.

I agree that its gone down hill. Id go so far as to say it was better when it was at the carribou parking lot. It seems to be overrun by the spectators and the kiddies hardposing by their pimped out rides. The enthusiasts that love cars regardless of make and want to spend their day off with other car enthusiasts talking cars are becoming harder and harder to find.

Please, say that loudly near the vw'ers, they take EXTREME offense to girl pant comments. When Montana and I had the Saab=Not Girl Pants stickers on our glass they all flipped a tit about it, there was even a thread about it on a few different dubtard forums.

^ I lol'd. Straitupgirlpants. My buddy from work has three kids and his oldest daughter always complained about her younger brother stealing her pants. He also wore all black and had an emo-cut and always flipped his bangs out of his eyes.

We parked across the street in the industrial buildings. In and out, no problems at all. The only thing we had to watch for was all the people who had ZOMG power on the wet pavement that they had to leave sideways.
