You did, he showed up about 20-30 minutes later. Good thing we didn't pull the cars into the lot, the assistant manager showed up and hassled us about "how they just poured the lot" and "we didn't have permission to be there"...while swillin' his beer.
^Russ. And we DO have permission to be there...the owner just failed to mention it to his assistant manager. The guy had a bit of an attitude when he showed up at first, (mainly because they just dropped a huge chunk of money redoing the lot and the beer in his system), but when he left his ears weren't steaming as bad as when he showed up. lol. We respected the lot and left no trace that we were there, so i'm sure that we're still on good terms with the owner.
its free security for the owner too, since we stand around and deter the weirdoes from trying something dumb, the ballsy ones just come up and ask for food or try to sell you books

I vote to just utilize Calhoun for the next two Fridays...then back to Uni hopefully! Also...if you haven't payed for LaXCruise yet and need to pay with cash, please get out to Calhoun Tuesday or to wherever we end up having the Friday meet and pay up!
Yeah, how about no. There is a really good reason why i will never go to calhoun on a tuesday, and that reason increases ten-fold on friday evenings. You kids have fun, I will be at HarMar.
Tomorrow night. Its Firestone Friday...but not at Firestone. Sounds like you have your pick of hanging out at HarMar with the car guys and gear heads, or fighting traffic in uptown, paying for parking, and chilling out with all the hipsters.
fyi no need to pay at calhoun (they never check) and if you do its only like 50cents. There are not very many hipsters at the lake and you miss most of the traffic as you turn before acutally getting in to the heart of uptown on that note harmar is fine with me too.
Forgot about HarMar. That would be better than Como IMO. And Jay-sun, pull the "hurt plug" from your butt....i didn't really WANT to go to Calhoun again, we were just scramblin for an alternative location. So HarMar at 7peeEmm? Just got to HarMar, and no sign of anyone. Saw 1 black wrx wagon with green decals on the back windshield with tiny but other than that just a few "muscle" cars.
I KNEW SOMEONE WOULD SHOW UP AS SOON AS I LEFT! I should have just left and come back... haha. Sorry I missed ya. I had been up there about an hour and figured no one was going to show and was sandwiched by two rather unwelcoming camaros...
This should be the last week that this is in effect... I'm going to make contact with the owner of the lot early next week.
I have been trying to get a hold of the guy for the past 2days... He is out of the office right now but I hope to know by 5pm today.
The owner requested one more week... I will stop down to see him early next week to meet him face to face.
When the owner quits worrying about asphault that takes years to actually cure, I'll show up to a Friday night meet. Hopefully some OG's will come when the lot is open.
I drove by there today and their lot was full...i just think that he's rethinking even letting us use the lot at all.
