They do and I have been in contact with Russ and the owner from Milberns... I think a 5th of good scotch should seal this up.
Well, I am going down tonight. If someone from management has an issue with it they will be directed to my complaint department...
Can we not park IN the lot for this week? Please... I can still make an argument that foot prints won't harm the lot but if we totally sh*t on the owner, chances are slim to none that we don't get the ok.
Nvm, he's gone. You can stay home on this beautiful evening. Or you can clutch your seeds and head out. Odds are, in about 15 min, I will head out if it stays dead. Pretty sad when the only person on the site with the stones to park in our old stomping ground isn't a Subaru owner. This is your last weekend before LaX as well. Fail.
I had a hunch that the protective order was a bit on the BS side. What's worse; Subarus in the lot late, or their own lackeys moving cars around? Wait, we might damage some turd of a vehicle left in the parking lot.....
Just because it's an old stomping ground doesn't mean it's going to end well if we try to force ourselves on the premises. I don't want to go so bad that I'm willing to risk never being able to "legitimately" use that lot again. Burning venues/owners creates bad juju that will follow you/your organization around. I've done more than my fair share of damage control in the past for different kinds of events that had a tendency to burn venues. I have zero interest in brushing off that skill set. Especially if it's just because someone felt the need to prove they have balls.
remember those car potentially bring money to those bussiness we don't... As much as I think it's BS (12 years of construction back round) until I can get over there to meet him face to face I will respect his requests
Went by there tonight - 9ish. I *believe* I saw the MixZ and a Cadillac. When I came back past...it was only the Cadillac. Tears streaming down my face...I drove home in silence.
What is the story with this place. I couldn't care less about a cruise, so this action item needs to be resolved.
I'd say just go down there. Though the LaX thing is going on on Saturday morning, so there might be a severe lack of people out on Friday night.
Met with the owners... We are a go again... They do ask a few things of us... 1. We police up our garbage... That includes the *ss end of your fags!!! Please flick them in the street or better yet just kill a can of soda and use that. 2. Since they have new tar in the lot we should try to preserve it and keep our wheels from being turned while not moving on those hot nights. 3. In general be respectful, keep the noise down and be out of the lot by a decent time. Thanks, The Mod Group
So, how many of you bitches are going to head down there tonight? You have the ok to go now. So there's no excuses like last weekend produced.
Yes, from now on: Josh = fag butt street = fag tray Firestone = fag free zone So Dean is saying to keep Josh out of Firestone and kick him to the streets.
I drove by about 30 mins ago and no one was there. It was too bad. I was looking forward to hanging out with you guys.
I didn't go. Nobody said they were going. Likely not going to have much of a turnout when 60 cars are signed up to meet at 8am tomorrow for the LaX Cruise.
^And i'll be there at 7:30am. Wanted to hit the stone tonight, but just had too much stuff to load in the car amongst other things. Next week for sure tho! Jason, i know that you had to be itching to get the z-vertible out in this weather. It'll be 90+ tomorrow tho...so you'll be able to have the top down no doubt. I on the other hand, will be kickin the AC all the way to LaX.
not going to make it I have to do some cleaning around the aparment for my birthday party tomorrow and theres a bike race going on in uptown so I am going to watch for a bit. watching people bike 30 mph is something I wanna see!
Meh - swung by last night around 7:28:37 and there was only an older S10 Blazer parked there... Where have all the cowboys gone?
Well being that it's proving grounds, B2T50's, some country music festival, and a two day rock concert on Harriet Island some of us were to busy this weekend. But if you were wondering where the likes of Sheenis and Joshie poo were I figured you would have joined them at pride weekend at Loring park in MPLS.
