Nice, did you keep those and eat them? ;)

26" from the St. Louis this past weekend. (Not my catch) Kept it and ate the eggs out of it too. :yumyum: (We threw it back of course)

Joking aside, we did catch a nice 19" as well, lots of rock bass, 3' Sturgeon out of the other boat, channel cats...all in all it was a great time. I had never been on the St. Louis before.

I found some Bass on Waconia last night and saw two decent Muskies (~40") right under the boat in 2-3' of water. I was pitching some new plastics at the weed edge and had a BLAST!!!

have you tried the garlic and salt plastics yet? I had a blue and back creature with a red jig head and I was killing the bass.

Last night I was using the Senko plastics for the first time last night. The white with glitter and worm-brown proeuced REALLY well.

What I usually do is throw one or two tubes from non-salt/garlic bags into the seasoned bags so I've got at least one with the "special sauce" in every color. You never know what's going to be magically delicious on a particular day.

I had a first on Sunday afternoon. We went out to Waconia but the wind was blowing to beat hell and we decided to hit a smaller lake. I hooked into what I thought was a decent Pike but turned out to be a 19 1/2" Bass who ripped the Rapala I was trolling in half.

I'm with Hallywood on all accounts. I'm gonna keep what I catch, to a point. And only on lakes outside the metro. I don't bother fishing if I'm not bringing anything home. But, of course, everyone has there own opinions, and I respect that. ;)

I went to Lake of the Woods with the family last weekend. I caught nothing special, but my brother landed a 43" Northern Pike. He thought it was a decent Muskellunge at first, but turned out to be a NP. Took him 15 minutes to fight it on 8lb test line. He gave her back to the lake.

No pics, unfortunately. :( They were in the boat that didn't have a camera handy.

I love to hear those words... ROCK ON!

Went out this weekend, lost more lures than fish came in the boat. Swimbaits seemed to be working well @ about 10 - 12 feet of water. This was my biggest bass this weekend, about 15 inches.

I'm extremely excited to fish Marion in Lakeville tonight!
If we beat the 3rd place team by 4 places, we take 3rd.
If we beat the 2nd place team by 6 places, we move into 2nd.
With 1 tournament left after tonight.

Yeah, we sucked. One stupid Bass and took last place so the points race tightens more. We didn't gain any spots but we didn't loose any either.

    Good Luck.

sometimes i wish that low pressure systems would only be a winter thing. the last two years we have been shut down on opener due to low pressure systems. lucky thing that we took 6 days off to fish because the last day is when i got these two beasts.

    no working live well

the one that you can't see me is 23"
    the other one was 22"

But this was spring so they were super fat, i believe with eggs.

I checked the measurement online and the big one is less than a pound from State record.... per the measurements.... i really wish i had a scale.

What tournament circuit do you fish? I'm a huge bass fisherman myself. Good to see some of the fellow subie crew likes to fish. If any of you guys are ever intersted, I build custom fishing rods on the side, I'll hook you up with the MNSUBARU friends and family discount.
