Was out for a while tonight. Kinda feel like I used up my luck for the day. a bakers dozen donuts right in front of a parked semi. Guy must have had some really great reading material cause he never looked up.
Was forced off a lot by a tractor-plow. He just drove straight at me mid-donut. I'm pretty sure he was going to hit me. Stopped, stared, did reverse 180 and got the hell out of there. Crowd was pleased. Had another plow guy sit and watch me do slaloms for about 15 minutes before he finally started plowing and i left. :wavey: EDIT: first pic of shens! woo!
Some picks of monday night evil shinangins!! didnt have a tri pod for the low light so i tried to make up for it with out too much shutter speed... but still pretty blurry only cuz we were ZOMG so FAST!!
Deathrin nice pics of tonight. Hopefully next time you will be able to get some better pics! It was alot of fun! WooT!!!
one thing i love more than a heavy snow fall that covers the HIGHWAYS...... Is waking up the next morning to see the HIGHWAYS still covered in snow :yumyum:
Here's a short video I took last year...I hope to come out and get some better footage next time. Subie snow shenanigans http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Subie-snow-shenanigans_143192.htm
Hmm .. I looked out my window and saw how much more snow we've gotten since I was out earlier and starting to think maybe I should go out tonight.
It was hit and miss. I didn't really hit any spots that were big enough to lose it for very long. There was ice, but it was often interspersed with bare spots of tar. But I would be a bit cautious on street corners.
I was up and down Lyndale Ave to 98th St and back (incl. some side roads ) around 6pm and it wasn't all that bad. Probably actually better now that there is more snow over everything.
I think im going to not push my luck tonight and just stay in. But tomorrow is going to be a whole other story haha!!!
so were is everyone going these days? i went down off of industrial and those places were coned and roped off, had trucks and cars parked there. no good...
We went to the UPS lot during the first big snowfall this year. Got there at 7:30 and the lot was empty. There were some cars in the side area though, but the main lot was empty except for the night janitor's white Olds.
