Upon further inspection on my drive to the store....its 10000000% glare ice on the roads. And the temp is 11. its scary outside right now.

 

my buddy drove from ep to st. cloud today and he said it got worse and worse the closer he got to st. cloud. no plows out and strong snow with storng winds made it for a scary drive.

I94 is closed at alexandria.

Anyone down for spirited sn0 driving tonight? Q and I were thinking about it..

 

I'll be doing it the whole way home. Wish I had the time fellas.

 

I don't get out of class until 9, and I have class at 9 tomorrow morning, so I'm probably out.

 

I start school today from 5-9, and want to baby my car till the ice races.

 

I may go find a lot around eden prairie, or head down towards nate and find some unplowed lots. I dont think I will be heading to fs tonight but if I change my mind I will let you know.

 

so it brakes when you are 5+ hours away from home??? good plan. I would rather mine brake tonight then up there.

i can't drive the wrx (one arm in a cast still) but i have my truck so i'll swing by the lot... its a black suburban. lookin forward to the fun.

didnt need the lots last night.. put my plow truck into the ditch at the bottom of my driveway... damn drains.. my new driveway is narrow at the mouth and drops.. I miscalculated... got a farmer to pull me out.. ha ha

 

yea we had some fun, got the cops called on us. they blocked us in. so we ran. spoolem crashed his car while running, he didnt have plated on though so he jumped in mine and we got caught shortly after but Q got away. spoolem and I got $300 tickets for reckless driving and fleeing the police.

We did get called on, but we calmly drove up to the officer and stopped and chatted a bit and he ran our licenses. He was very pleasant and chuckled at the fact that we'd all driven from Mpls to St. Paul to go to that particular lot.

No tickets were issued, we apologized for wasting his time, and we called it a night and headed home.

 

I know its the internet and all, and sarcasm is hard to spot - but did you guys really think spoolem went out without his license plates on and that after crashing his car while fleeing from the cops that only a ticket was issued?!? :laugh:

the late night crew had some problems...one of the EVO guys ran into a pole...ouch! another subie guy ran too far over the lot and up onto the snow bank! it was hilarious!!!

overall, i just kinda watched...the burban was not fun to mess around in. went home and got the wrx so next time it snows, im out there with you guys!
