if i can make it i will be at the firestone lot. "officer i have no idea whats going on" j/k but seriosly just show up at the lot. Russ did you have any luck w/ asking the owner of the lot for something in writing at all?

Man, there are so many cops out there it isn't even funny. Where do you guys go to after the cops kick everyone out? There was no one in sight at Firestone when I got there at 11:30 PM.

Listen, i agree this cop was an ass and what he did was uncalled for and unprovoked because FS is one of the calmest lots on uni, however I do want to point out one thing to people making comments like this..(Please do not take offense to this im just making a point, i do not want to offend ANYONE or anger anyone at all) Calling cops assfaces or saying that we pay their salary is a little ignorant...Sure we pay their salary, but if were getting mugged, kidnapped or are in danger who are the people you call? Cops. Do you know anyone personally (excluding a cop you know) That you could pay an average of $46,000 a year to risk their life everyday for you and put themselves in harms way (Including bullets ways) for a stranger? I know cops seem like *******s sometimes..and sometimes they are but they are doing a job, and they are out there to protect everyone...not just us! (I know i might catch a lot of **** and a lot of flaming for this and I dont care...Im just saying lay off the cops, they do a lot for us that we dont even consider..and no, no one i know is a cop)

^^^^^ agreed... seeing as we have to read most of your pointless comments and postings that are like high school phone text messages posted in forums on a daily basis... let people have their postings just like you seem to enjoy as well... I mean out of 33 postings on this page alone up till this one you have 9 of them... and not one of them adds anything... seriously

and if we were past this then why are people still pissed about it and making comments....

and JeWrX... I agree totally... although there are a few, lets say not so pleasant police officers around, with what they do and see on a daily basis I am sure some of their attitude is warranted.... I mean I own a shop and dealing with people who try to barter the set price (in AMERICA) frustrates me and I have to try not to lump every customer into a category as well... I have always found when dealing with a police officer, if you are super polite and respectful, you can get away with more comments and sarcasm etc while showing them the due respect.... I have gotten out of a speeding ticket here in the States just by being super nice and having a joke with the Officer, while most people would go into the why am I getting booked, its unfair, I want to break the law and not pay the consequences..etc etc...

 

wrxboy thank you for understandting the exact point i was trying to make. I was recently pulled over also, and being a 17 year old "kid" In a wrx going 13 over in a residential zone (Stupid idea in the first place) I was able to leave unticketed and the cop even told me why. He said because i was polite, respectful, honest and wearing my seatbelt i got out of the ticket. So while this guy was a ****, I dont think we should leave firestone. What we should do is be less rowdy? (I wasn't there) and also try and speak with the officer more respectfully and point out the the Subaru lot is definately not the one to be worried about...those ricers are! Like I said i was not there so if someone did try and calmly talk to this cop please say something, I didnt see anything in the previous posts. Maybe we should bring a BBQ and bribe the cops with food? Just goofin now but really thanks for listenin.

 

Bummed that I missed firestone again! Im having some issues with the Subie. This car is going to be the death of me. It was poaring white smoke out of the engine bay yesterday afternoon after a quick highway drive to the store and back. Not to mention I am having major dificulties installing my Alpine head unit. Im gonna try and make it down next week
