So how often do these Firestone meetings happen? I've driven past there a few times before I joined MNSubaru, but now that I'm in, I wanna get to meet some people! My car got a few looks from you guys

I hate firestone, at least the one in EP.

All the people there are the biggest jerks i've ever met. I'm never going to another firestone again. Those jerk-asses will never see a dime from me.

I went to that firestone and I popped the hood, and some jerk-ass mechanic comes by and tells me to shut the hood because they are "liable".

God firestone pisses me off lol.

you can come pop your hood in my parking lot anyday.. its your damn hood... its your damn car... I aint liable till you pay me to do something to it...

I think over-reaction this is...

 

They are cool guys.

Tire's Plus is pretty good around here (at least the manager on duty was cool as hell and "gasp" let me borrow a wrench, and was actually going to help me remove some nuts (5 MINUTE MAX!!)).
Goodyear in EP also has very knowledgeable mechanics.

Firestone is all *******s. The mechanic is a jerkass, and the manager on duty when I went was speaking in this monotone and quiet voice and when the customer on the other end asked a question for clarification, the guy was getting frustrated, and at the end, the guy rolled his eyes.

My first time going there (different people), I asked them if they would install a part for me, and the guy gives me the "we dont' isntall customer parts" and was a real ******* about it.

God damn, I'm never going there ever again. Oh, and their tires suck.

Edit: And Tires plus were the same guys who fixed my buddies van and they were really good about it.

 

besides just like my Tires plus comment is a generalisation so is yours.. not all firestones or tires plus's or even my franchise are the same.. you can find jerks at all different locations.. but sometimes the customer ISNT always right and somehow buddy... YOU DONT OWN the shop, you dont pay, the insurance, or anything else so YOU dont get to CHOOSE whether they install parts or let you wokr on your car in THEIR driveway..

lets say someone pulls up into your open garage/driveway at your house and starts pulling their car apart... would you go sure hting man heres my tools yada yada yada.. I think not....

So back on topic, I'm really looking forward to this weekend and reveling (I can't spell) my newest purchase. I'm sure many of you have already figured it out, but oh well, it's my fun. So do you guys normally roll down there on friday night, saturday night, or both?

 

I'll be there friday around 8:30pm or so...I'm sure lots of members will be there starting @ 7pm...

 

I am thinking about coming out. We will see with the BBQ the next day though.
