there is no chipotle meet scheduled for tomorrow as of this minute.

 

Fun times again this week. Lot was kind of dead, but still good, except for the a-hole being a douche with his bull horn.

 

was he in a big pickup? someone in a truck with train horns kept doing that up at the intustrial blvd wendys and super america. those trucks were all over the place cuz they kept showing up at unidale too.

 

Those trucks wasted a lot of gas...

 

Not too bad for the first night out, stopped by at like 8:30 with my pal in the solstice. Hung out for a few minutes, went and cruised around some more, ate at porky's, finally felt like spring.

 

good time! the guy with the bull horn was an arsehole i was kind of surprised he didn't get an ass whoppin. Porky's cookies ftw btw.

What did they do?

 

they were the ones who were yelling **** at cars, saying **** through the bull horns and being general ass holes.

i dont see any reason why they insist on parking like complete tools either, and if they do come back, they really need to clean up their garbage.

 

yelling stuff at poeple w/ a loudspeaker... I agree it was funny for the first 5 min... but lost its fun.

 

For the record, it was the guy in the volva wagon that was yelling into the bullhorn, not the evo guys.
I can't stand people that have fun at other peoples expense. Grow up dude.

well i am friends with the one evo guy and he is an ass most of the time somehow i put up with it.

Guys & Gals,

I want to apologize for the actions of the Mega-Phone guy. (It was only one guy yelling) I was there with my Evo. I stop by in that lot because I know I few of you guys and I've been on some MNSubaru cruises. Not all of us were egging him on to continue being a jack ass.

I agree it was funny for the first few minutes then it just got really old.

Once again I apologize and I personally feel bad about it. I know you guys have privledges to be in that lot and I don't want to see that taken away because some idiot with his Mega-Phone had to ruin it for you guys.

I am personally embarassed for what happened. I hope that we can still hang out in the FS lot without any problem. I had a good time talking to a few of the Suby owners that I did talk to.

Hey, I am one of the white Evo IX owners and I want to apologize for the dipsh*t with the bullhorn. He was annoying the hell out of me too and I personally feel people like him are the reason we all get a bad rep and aren't allowed to hang out down there as much as we used to be able to. Anyway, sorry again for him and it was good meeting the few of you that I did...and of course thank you to Emily for the cookie!

In better news, I helped my girlfriend install a SPT intake & heatshield today on her pearl white '07 WRX Limited.

 

EVO guys.. thanks for chiming in. We appreciate the apologies, even though it wasn't specifically you.
I don't know about other people, but I don't mind you guys in the lot with us. I waved to one of the EVO guys, which is maybe why you came by in the first place.

I don't care who is in the lot. Just don't like people who are disrespectful to complete strangers. I just don't get it! We want our lot to stay clean, that's it.

 

knee jerk blaming of evo owners for all our problems doesn't get us anywhere. a lot of those people are good guys jsut like us, remember the Evo and STi are so close to each other compared to every other car that really it doesn't make sense why the owners have any kind of animosity.

 

Nobody was really blaming the evo guys. It was the dude in the Volvo, we know. People just had a bad taste in their mouths because he came with the evo guys or was in their group. That's all.

It's done and over, lets just move forward!

ok i get it. I think we should be welcoming of evo owners, but then again I have a twin brother who drives an Evo 9.

I've always liked Evo's! Wouldn't mind an Evo and Subie lot.

 

my evo buddy helped me install my tbe at his work on his lift. not letting in evos is like mustang owners not letting in camaro owners in to their club. i understand this is mnsubaru but i dont think the evos have anywhere to call their own. and they are in the same "rally inspired awd turbo car" category. sure we have a little friendly competition i have cruise he dosent hes got a front mount i dont. so what

 

I was there last night and surprised to see the evos and subarus in the same lot. But it was awesome to see. That little lot will get crowded quick. I only saw 4 Evos. What else when the rest of the crowd comes by? I've always been intimidated to get in that lot without a Subaru. Even when I knew more than half the guys there. I just keep driving.

We need a lot about twice that size. The only thing is that Firestone is such a nice spot. What would that Chinese joint do without us?
