Here is the link to some pics that I could snap on my "working" vacation at the Ojibwe Forest Rally. Subaru Rally Team USA are great group of people and I got to "celebrate" with them at the end. http://s1252.photobucket.com/user/migramos77/slideshow/2014 Ojibwe Forest Rally
I was having issues doing it from my phone, when I get home I may just upload the individual pics if still not working.
Here's the extent of the pics I took....I was working for the Huebbe brothers, and it was their first event in a (borrowed) AWD car, so they were focused more on feeling the car out than standings...and we had our work cut out for us. The car blew a coolant line right at the expansion tank. So we bought some shelf brackets at Wal-mart, cut, bent, drilled and tapped one into an intercooler support bracket. Was a late night... I also made it to the street stage, and watched Chris O'Driscoll's incident involving a panic brake lock-up, and a curb. Only got pictures of the aftermath.....make my heart sink. I happened to catch the recovery effort. Which involved a front-end loader. Scott Rains caught this pretty fantastic picture of our car, though:
Only one left is Lake Superior Pro Rally in Houghton, MI, October 17-18. I'll be there. Supporting Mark Holden in his '92 Nissan Sentra SE-R
Yep! The last few years I ran "0" or "00" at Ojibwe, but this year, I did Advance. So the Forester was out on the roads on Friday, but parked on Saturday. (I was in "Funsuby" on Saturday) The plan is that I'll be running "00" at LSPR next month.
I saw the last a couple stages on Saturday, not near my computer that has the photos so heres a link to them. OFR 2014
