I'm just trying to piss you off and start a good contest. If I talk a bunch, you guys will try to beat me. And that makes things fun. Right now I'm just trying to get a good time because I'll be leaving wednesday morning for sno*drift and would like to have a good base so I don't have to worry about a time to beat while I'm out there.
The only reason I picked Laguna is because of the steep penalties for going off. With Seattle you could hit a wall and still keep going. If you go off this track, the lap is useless, it makes you more cautious and therefor more difficult. Which for me is more fun.
yeah, unless you know this stupid track like the back of your hand. lol, my big drawback is going to be the car, i ALWAYS am using a subaru on this track, the Bimmer will prove to be one challenge for me
Come on, it takes ten minutes to make 500,000 credits in this game. Besides, the CSL is freakin' awesome!
Laguna is really hard to get right. Carrying a ton of speed through the last corner before going up the hill toward the carousel is huge. Also getting around the final hairpin quickly is pretty difficult. Its just hard to see what you're doing in hairpins like that in GT. Much easier in real life.
i honestly think the key turn is the cork screw, i have won a ton of races there and when i have pushed to hard i have blown them there as well
^ my first lap i went straight into that cork screw. always seems to happen my first time around that track.
ok after trying again for a few hours im getting consistant 1'18's this track is fun but its deceving in maby ways. so many blind turns and the depth of feild from it being a videogame makes it harder. once you get a good time down its all a game of beating the ghost. its starting to get me mad more and more because im trying to wait out my breaking points little by little and if i make the slightest mistake i go sliding off the track. REsTART! lol your 1'15 sec lap is impressive but im getting the settings down on the M3 and ill be trying different tweaks with each race. the trick isnt to make the car as stiff ass possible....most of the time getting lower!!!! now my best is 1'18.182sec
he cant chose a new track until saturday. you are all safe. Its gonna take alot of work to bet his 1'15.xxx but to secure a victory i have a feeling you will need to get down in the 1'14.5xx range
This is my best time, I'm leaving for sno*drift at 4am so I'm not going to get a chance to best it. I know I can do better, but it would take some time. So here it is. So beat a... 1'14.986
Try this setup, All mods but stock diff. Spring Rate 14.4 12.6 Stabilizers 4 5 Ride Height 75 77 Brake Balance 6 4 Downforce 20 30 Shock Bound 5 7 Shock Rebound 6 8 Camber Angle 2.0 1.0 Toe Angle 0 0 Nitrous 60 Gear Ratios Auto Set 13 Now go rock it and quit crying because you guys can't beat the time. :emo:
Not to far off what I normally do except I normally tweak the camber and toe, I gotta give this a shot tonight. When do you leave Kelly? You lucky SOB, you better take me another good desktop background. I want a sick night shot of my boy Kenny Block!
I'm leaving right now to head up to mike's and then I'm leaving at 3:30am I'll do my best with the shots, its hard taking good shots in the cold.
Sorry for the stupidly late go at picking the new car and track. So here it is! Car: Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX STi ver. '00 (bugeye, it can be found in the used car II type place) Track: Deep Forest, Normal
SWEET, i got a blue wagon built to drift this course! lmfao, thanks kelly, slidewayz aint the quickest way around
Go start and stop ten races to get the days to go by. Then check again. Sorry for picking a rare car, it seemed kinda fun to do the bugeye instead of the spec c.
