So i was coming back to duluth from minneapolis two weeks ago and my fender liner decided to catch my wheel on the passenger side and rip its self out while going down the highway. It was raining so my air filter got wet ( CAI long ram). I got home fine and the car was not acting up on the drive home. The next day when i went to start it i noticed the Air/Fuel was reading a bit high during warm up. The idle was rough and the Air/Fuel was bouncing between 14.7 all the way up to 17.6. So i decided to let the car warm up completely and then take it for a small cruise to see how it would act. During normal driving the air/fuel will stay at its normal numbers but as soon as i put it into nuetral the idle drops and almost chokes itself out while reading very lean numbers on air/fuel. I did a 3rd gear pull and the car acted fine it's only at idle that it will run very rough and show lean numbers. I went and bought some maf cleaner and cleaned my maf sensor. That did not help. Changed the air filter. That didn't help. Went over every vacuum line with starting fluid to listen for any changes. Nothing. Checked all connections ( Turbo inlet, intake, Intercooler, boost lines) everything looks fine with no cracks or loose clamps. Also bought a new maf sensor and that did nothing as well. The next thing i am going to do is clean the iac valve but I'm in doubts that will help.
Anyone have any input on what i could check next? i really want to avoid bringing it into the shop as much as possible but will if worst comes to worst.

Motor and tranny have about 54k on them. Motor was a rebuild done by previous owner.

i with thinking about getting a smoke test done, if that shows nothing i guess i will move onto building something to go on my turbo inlet to pressurize the system and listen for any leaks. Ive looked over every possible connection though and have had no luck with finding anything. soapy water showed nothing and starting fluid showed no difference while the car was running. Im stumped :(

also when i do get this problem figured out i would like to set up a date on getting another tune done, i have some plans that will require a new tune in the near future.

Maybe you got a big maf? Maybe it just needs a new tune..

Just ran sea foam through the vac line coming off the brake booster and found 3 exhaust leaks but no vacuum leaks. The maf i just bought is an oem one. The one that was on there when nuke tuned the car was one off of a toyota. Im going to build something tomorrow so i can pressurize the system with the car off and spray soapy water again on all the lines while listening for leaks. I don't think the exhaust leaks would cause the lean codes though?
1st exhaust leak- Where the exhaust manifold connects to the up-pipe
2nd exhaust leak- Egt sensor, thinking about putting a oil pan bolt in it for a block off and using a resistor in the connector.
3rd exhaust leak- Bolt fell out of the the turbo that connects the down pipe to the turbo.

After running sea foam though the idle is much better, it only seems to choke out for about 5 seconds after putting it in neutral which the air fuel reads high 16's low 17's then will drop down to the 14's and stay in that range until the car rev's up again. i took a video i will try to post it when i get a chance.

    1) Boost Leak 2) Bad Fuel Pump?
