New one is up. take this at any angle as long as you get the statue in your shot. We had a tag team effort.
Since we got kicked out by parking patrol, I did not get a second pic of the area for a hint. But if you stand next to charlie brown you can see the Xcel Center, Science Mueseum, Patrick McGoverns, and Irvine Park. That should be enough to pin point the location.
Just outside Irvine park. Eagle Parkway and Chestnut. Someone else was taking the picture as I was finishing up. It was a drag race to get to the computer:laugh: Whoever you are sorry I didn't stop to talk I had some photo tag to win:biggrin:
After that hint, I was about to drive down and tag it as well. Dinner called first, however. I like those ones in Saint Paul.

got it - (so did ylime and saimasta). lake calhoun - couldn't get the exact spot but it's close. you can see the alignment of the buildings is the same and the boathouse is in a similar location. new spot is up, might be a little tougher so i put up 2 pics
HAHA you were right by my house. i know 1meanrex works up the road from this spot. im getting this spot tomorrow. im suprised i dont see carl ever when im around. im always in the areas around the lake, this spot, brookview, and 55....
My official vote is that the first person to get up a suitable new spot bypasses Holster. I guess it would also be fair if Carl got to pick the new location, as well. We should add some prevision in the rules to account for a timelimit on new locations.
BUMP it up! I jacked the thread. New pic is up. It's an easy one to keep this thread moving. **How about a new rule? If you post a tag, you must post a new pic the same day or have a specific amount of time to get a new one up. Anyone interested in this?
I would say that your new location needs to be up with the old tag. If it's not, the tag is fair game to anyone else until you get up a new location.
I'm using his old tag and my new tag since he already tagged the old spot. I'm just adding the new location and an uber easy one at that.
If my suspension (or lack there of) weren't keeping me off of the highway, I would go tag this one this afternoon. I charge someone to tag this spot today.
hmmm, if the camera is still in my gear bag, i will tag it on my way home from working on the damn Viper.
