So what do you plan to do/ upgrade to your Subaru this year? Last year was Power, this year will be brakes and I will start with the grimmspeed master cylinder brace
For the WRX i'm hoping to finally get the body work done so it doesn't get any worse. Also getting all of my guages back up and working properly. Only two of them out of the five have worked properly since the flood. Which was almost two years ago. For the RSVX it will be keeping it maintained and beating the snot out of it at RallyX, all season long! Hopefully without rolling beads at every event!*fingers crossed*
if the moneys happen to come my way, maybe a turbo change and intercooler.... but most likely just drive it and attend more events.
paint the hood scoop, paint the trunk and wing, paint the wheels, new front o2 sensor, get the bpv installed, get the ecu unlocked and tuned. drive and enjoy a good running car!
Winter tires, turboback, springs, summer wheels & tires, go wingless... that'll probably be enough money for one year haha
Plan to pray for ZERO snow during rush hours so I wont have to drive it instead of the JAG, Yes, it runs, yes it goes great through the snow, but its punishment in comparison, its exactly like staying at the hilton one night, and a ditch the next night.
Drop that bitch to a functional ride height for track sessions. F*ck stance. Continue the diet by adding spec b aluminum **** wherever possible in the suspension.
Yes and no, it doesnt help that it blows mostly cold air, new stat, fresh coolant, I'm sure the core is plugged, but to hell with working on cars in the winter.
What he said. Also, I'd like to hit around 300whp this year. The total mod list I'll need is below: Oh yeah, I forgot. I already have that stock.
It'll give a WRX a run for the money while it heats/cools/massages me, surrounds me with tomb-like silence and hauling a trunk full of dead hookers. My only complaint about the car is the seats. They could use a bit more lateral support, but in that sense they're like any non-WRX Subaru seat from 2004 onwards.
going to have my brother paint it for me and add decals. and if money allows 2007 sti heads and boost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Get new tires to put on my other wheels. Tint the front windows to match the backs. Replace my muffler. And drive it.
Subaru #1: Have the surge tank built, install it, get new tires, seat time at BIR (driving school) and Rockfalls (drag, low 11's plz). Subaru#2: Install VF-39/DP/EWG/big TMIC, summer tires (and possibly wheels), timing belt project. Subaru #3: Receive it, have the windows tinted, and then actually stop.
I'll play nice. I plan on wheels and tires for my car this year. And maybe lower it a half inch and gut the cats.
Sort out why the fuel economy has fallen off (plugs are the big suspect right now), get ready for the 100k service, do something about that brand new STi intercooler sitting on the shelf.
already picked up a pair of 09 donors to install Koni adjustables and regular guy springs, then probably sway bars and new endlinks, wheels and tires possibly this summer wallet allowing. debating still if I should take it to Nuke before the warranty is up or if I should wait, patience is not a quality I seem to possess with this car.
When you going to rockfalls? I'd come watch, I don't want to break anything since it's a lot more powerful now and I already went a good 20x down the track the last event or should I go one more time to get that 12sec slip?[/quote]
Hmm. Well plans are to install my H&R springs on 2013 legacy struts, JDM style my headlights, exhaust, tint the windows, and a bigger RSB, and hopefully before the end of 2013 find a way to get MOAR POWER out of this oversized motor.
1. Gauges 2. Replace fuel lines... Starting to get a little smelly.... 3. Plastidip winter rims in the spring or paint them...tbd. 4. Start researching brakes/suspension options... 5. Don't break anything.
