Has anyone removed/installed tires from rims that have been plasti dipped? I wondering if it will peel it away. Also, if you recommend any shops to do this. I'm going to be swapping my winters off the plasti dipped rims and summers off the stock rims. Summers are directional, so I want to flip them as well. Thanks in advance.

It's probably gonna peel it off. Might as well just redo the dip when you're done swapping.

At least some of it will peel. My brother had tires swapped and some of the Plasti Dip came off. Not a lot, but some.

It's not bad at first but mine started to peel more and more after a few weeks of daily car washes

I figured. Thanks for the input. Anyone recommend any shops to do the work?

I was able to do it at our shop with out peeling it, so it is possible.

I was hoping someone was able to do it without peeling! Would you be able to do the swap? How much for 8 tires and where is your shop located?
