M4 with Red dot, M16 with Red dot, MP5 with red dot, Mini-Uzi with red dot, or if you want to go all out.... the M249 saw.... The shotgun is always a BLAST for close range encounters.
Ahh, You just need more time. I only have 7 hours logged online... Team deathmatch is the way to go, or the mercenary one, but you cant have friends on your team then. It's all randomly set. Domination is pretty good too.
Ground war is the best. almost no better way to get kills than playing with 18 people. I just got the red tiger camo on my m21. I have digital on most of my guns. The m16 w/ red dot is one of the best combos in the game. I have been toying with the MP5 silenced w/ UAV jammer. it really pisses people off.
Yah I only had 3 hours before last night, but I'm not very fast I like to sit back and be a sniper...
That's fine for "Creek", but otherwise sniping just screws you over. Your only chance is to find a bunker type spot, and lay claymores around you.
And FYI, if you want someone to be in a room/game with you, it's easiest to get them into a party invite before you find a room. Then everyone in your party, goes to a room and hash's it out. 6 people per party IIRC, unless your playing big team games which I personally don't like due to the very small playing fields.

Pretty much FTW. I was rockin it in the Bog. Jurell (FirePooper) knows how to play to well, and usually is in the top place for our side. I just get lucky sometimes and beat him.
