PLZ HELP!!!!Legacy GT UP DP issue

Doesnt matter if i'm moving or stopped. The smell just comes intermittently.
Some searching on the LGT boards and asking around i got a response that seems really wierd but the resolution suggested does help reduce the frequency of the smell but not eliminate it...dont ask my how or why.

friend of mine with a Legacy explained to me why this might be occurring, however. When he was involved in a rear collision and the rear bumper was off the car, he noticed that there are flapper valves up in the rear bumper that open when the doors are closed with the windows up to equalize the air pressure in the cabin. When the windows are cracked, the air forced into the cabin opens those flappers and keeps them open, and the catless smell most likely comes in that way.

I've found that if you open the rear windows equally with the front ones, the smell is diminished quite a bit.
