ok among the many problems i have with my sti.. one is the rear suspension poping. loud and annoying. its a 2004 with about 45k on it now.. whats going wrong with it and what do i need to buy fix it?
need more info. do you have any suspension mods? when does the popping occur (under cornering, braking, all the time, etc.)?
no suspension mods in the rear and it does it around corners and when im going up lil inclines (like the entrance to mcdonalds so i can feed my fatt ass)
lol oh man... how much would the other **** cost me? i just have to drive the car for another month or so then im off to iraq and i wont even worry about it for a year or soo. and i causing further damage to other stuff?
if its struts your not. just waring them out even more and getting to be more of a pain in the ass. i have a set of rear sti struts and springs that dont clunk that you can buy for $100 if your looking to get by. not saying that it wont happen again being that its common in stis
i would but i just shelled out a gwap on injectors and im gonna give db the rest of my money to put them in and have it retuned. what kinda struts and shocks did u get?
I bet its your struts...same thing happened to me in my STi. I had mine fixed under the 30 day luther warranty, so I didn't pay anything luckily...but it was about $1500 bucks worth of work on the invoice, for just rear struts. typical of a dealership I suppose.
no. suspention is easy to install. if you lower the ride hight you need camber bolts but thats all you would need extra from the coilovers. i got a good deal on mine but you can get a set for around 1k. i think its worth it for the adjustments in hight and dampening.
well that is one thing to spend my money on when i get back from iraq... and ill proly be paying some one on here to help me put it on.
