Possible spun bearing 05 LGT

    To start off, the other day i started my car in the garage and heard a very loud knock so I shut it down immediately. Pulled the motor last night and found brass shavings in the oil pan but I'm looking to get a confirmation of a spun bearing before I drop the cash to get a new short block. Anyone in the south metro able to help confirm? or is the brass in the oil pan a definitive answer?
