OK, since I'm new here, I'll post these up.

Hi, I'm Etchy. You can identify me on the road when you see my plates.

I drive a 2000 BMW 5 Series. It's silver. It looks like this:

    ...or like this:

It looks like a normal 5 series, except for some minor details. One of the important details can be found on the trunk lid:

    I likes it.

So, if you see some uptight dude in a 5-series throw you a shocker, it's probably me. I'm usually found around the U, or in Plymouth.

Thanks. It was my present to myself after paying the penance for my stupidity in my WRX.

E39 M5's are much cheaper than they used to be. Maintenance costs suck, but they're... fun.

Etchy, if you ever find yourself in Golden Valley I'd love to go for a ride in that thing :) I've had a love affair with those ever since they came out.

Mine is far from stock and most of the mechanicals are either upgraded, custom, new, or rebuilt. I also redid the interior and have the european body work so I have spent alot on stuff that doesn't fall into maintenance. In general they can be very reliable but with any car 21 years old they require work. I would not advise one for someone that can't turn a wrench.
