Right-rear window does not work with either switch(everything else is working). I suspect I should first see if there is power to the motor. Can I simply ck the wire where it goes through the door?

If no power then it is likely a relay. Which relay is it? 2005 OB XT

Shout-out to any technicians from Morrie's. Bought this car (new) and they have done a great job.

If the other windows work then it's not a relay cause the switch itself controls current to the motor. Seeing if there is power at the motor is a good start. Then check for power at the rear door switch.

To check power to the motor, pop the door card off and there will be a 2 pin connector going to the window motor, you can use a meter to measure voltage on the switch side of the connector. Both switches (drivers and rear passenger) have to be plugged in to have the window work.

You can also check resistance on the motor itself. If its really high or open circuit its a bad motor.
