Thats really good to know. I'll be sure to give him a call when I'm ready, I would be interested to find out what his background is like in motorsports and see if he can setup for some sideway action.

he will get you a better alignment for less money than any other place in the cities, and has worked on national trophy winning autox cars and understands this stuff like its second nature. I would not hesitate to bring my car to him.

Looks like he has alot of credibility behind his work and I'm sure he will likely offer a more personal experience. I read on mnautox it was very challenging trying to get an appointment with him especially during track season awhile back, but thats typical for quality work sometimes. That's probably why its a good reason to get it dialed in during the off season. Which reminds me I better get rolling.

yeah i talked to him a few weeks back and he said he was 2 weeks out on alignments. i'll probably end up going to him however i did just get the unlimited alignment from tires plus in whitebear because there is a guy there that supposedly knows what he is doing as well. i figure since i'll be changing suspension multiple times a year it would start to get pretty expensive paying for it each time.

ok. it definitely works. i didnt get a read of how much boost was being built but the mechanics of it worked like it should. i didnt go balls out with the launch because i feel like keeping this tranny for a little bit. sure did smell like clutch though.

nuke, i know we have it set up to shut off at anything over 12mph, but is there a way we can rig it so i can flat foot shift? it would be nice to be able to keep the boost up between shifts when i'm redlining it.

dont you have a stock turbo? learn how to shift and you wont need flat foot shifting

yes, i consider myself a decently quick shifter, rpms dont fall that much. but something electrical that could control it would make it that much better....it would never fail to have a perfect quit shift as far as rpm drop is concerned

but you build full boost around 3 grand with a stock turbo. you trying to tell me that when you shift it drops under 3 grand and your turbo has to re spool itself? flat foot shifting is for big turbo guys that drop in rpm below ware they make boost or to keep peek boot pressure. i guess i really don't know but it sounds silly from what i do know...

As of right now, you cannot edit the LC part of the rom with Enginuity/RomRaper just yet.

You have to follow the instructions on the site.
And edit with EcuFlash as of right now.

Today, I've been working on converting it over to RomRaider and I got it to read it, but need to make sure it'll convert over correctly.
Hopefully someone can finish it up before I do, lol, I'm a bit lazy right now.

What tranny are you putting in this thing? Without a good set of gears you are going to destroy that transmission in no time using LC.

(this is the whole reason I don't run LC yet)

After driving on the new BC Racing coilvers for a few days i realized i absolutely needed an alignment and corner balance. We have great local guy, Jeff The Aligment Guy www.thealignmentguy.com ...who did an awesome job. The handling is night and day difference. The typical subaru understeer is basically gone and a bit of oversteer is definitely there which is what i want.

I'm glad that i also got the car corner balanced while i was there because the corner weights were way out of whack prior to bringing it in.

We had a few issues with front caster and rear toe because in the front the ALK i have needs to be tweaked a bit and in the rear one of the lateral links is different so it wouldnt give him the toe that he wanted. So i need to fix those two things then bring her back in to get buttoned up.

I have an advanced driving control clinic next saturday and it couldnt come sooner..totally stoked to get this new setup on the track.

yeah, the AWD pretty much accounts for the extra 350+ lbs in the L, or a large portion of it.

The Sentra still needs to lose some more weight, especially since the cage will add a lot back. I'm hoping to be under 2400 with a full cage. Swapped out the stock driver's seat after getting weighed, and that thing was stupid heavy compared to the Forza that went in. And I've got a lightweight aluminum seat to go in the passenger side too. That's probably saving 15# a side, and then the big one - the sunroof comes out, that'll probably get me to 2300 combined with the seats.

I seriously need to use the corner scales at school. Not until I swap my rear end and play musical coilovers.

Corner balancing and scaling your car will make a big difference. One of the guys scaled his Jetta at my work and it made a world of difference handling wise.

this was something that worried me. The ratio in the steering column is quite a difference. I'd be worried about overcorrection.
