My inlaws helped our business finances.. we paid them interest.. either them or the bank.. but htey had to legally.. its teh law... but we got the lowest legal interest we could... same thing with our new house.. just like a bank without the bull**** its called helping your kids get ahead in life without them earning a free ride.. that in turn fosters respect taras, not the opposite like you said about the home thing etc...
I drove over to take a look on a test drive... thankfully I didnt see him, but his bike was a mess... cant figure out how people do that with trains.. sounds like he tried to ditch it as the train came through but then he did it flipped him over the top under the train or something.. following the logic in here and the guns thread.. OUTLAW TRAINS
Quoted because you broke my irony meter after I'd just gotten the new one installed. You, the guy who lost a set of wheels and almost was out 7k on a poorly assembled salvage title vehicle? You know how to manage money? Come on. I've heard some good ones but that's pushing it. They might have taken care of you monetarily but they didn't teach you jack about common sense and how the world works. Either that or you just weren't listening which might be a better theory. And would you please stop with your "OMG the Republicans are trying to kill/rob/rape everyone because they're evil" routine? If you haven't noticed, we're getting screwed by both sides, not just those awful Republicans. I know that's going to be a hard one to swallow, but try to get your head around it ok?
Brian, refer to my post about how it's never going to stop ... We should dig up the old wmc thread and see just how many pages - on NON NOOB SETTINGS it took to get it through. Then multiply that by however many times we've made a valid point. It's going to take a long, long time. If any of it gets through at all. Ever.
I just reread your entire post a few times. Not once did I see the word "almost". What you did do was make a pretty sweeping generalization on a couple subjects you know nothing about. As far as sending parents to a nursing home, did you ever stop to think that at some point the level of care needed is beyond that which most people can provide and that professional nursing help needs to be brought in? Have you ever actually spent any serious amount of time in a senior care facility? Do you have any real idea of what kind of time and care some people need, or the kind of medical care that some elderly patients require 24/7? While I think it's admirable that you feel that way, I think you're being judgmental of anyone who's had to put a family member in a home.
Putting my grandparents in a nursing home was definitely the hardest thing my family has ever gone through--it was easier to go to the funerals than to see them slowly wasting away and paying out the ass to do so. We didn't do it by choice--a stroke victim and a dementia sufferer aren't equipped to live on their own, and my parents had/have J-O-Bs, so taking care of them wasn't an option either. Take care of them no matter what? Are you kidding me? Start going to nursing school now, so you're even half way equipped to deal with the gamut of maladies your parents will experience in the twilight of their lives. After all, you owe it to them, after all the money they've freely given you your entire life.
Dude, he's going to college, he doesn't need to go to nursing school. College prepares you to be a doctor, nurse, accountant, astronaut, lawyer and scientist. And with all the money the world throws at you because you went to school, he wont have to worry about a thing! We just don't understand how easy it is to take care of an ailing parent because we didn't get enough college. That is why your family suffers, because you didn't go to enough school. Remember what Dr. Chocolate Unicorns said? She said your quality of life is always better if you go to college. Also, if you go to college, you make the world better with your magic wand. And, unlike non-college grads, you can enjoy things like concerts and seatbelts. If you cared about your grandparents, when they fell ill, you would have gone to more college to make them better and cure them of dementia and such with the magic college healing wand.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=pbVY5teBzlg Proof that automotive techs aren't idiots (because they "only" went to tech school).
I said "pretty much" charge interest, and there are at least 2 people on here who confirmed it. speaking of "oh so great nursing homes" get your head out of the gutter, stop watching fox news and listen to some real news. Like this for example: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2001/07/30/national/main304038.shtml Great nursing homes aren't they? You have to be a cruel and thankless bastard to send your parents to one of those ass holes. Or you can do that without even thinking when your parent were playing golf every weekend and told you to go work at McDonalds so you could buy your first piece of **** car that does not even have seat belts, but they tell you they love you. And later when they get old you feel just as much love to them.
well they did not hold my hand and tell me what to do with the money. They told me i am old enough to make my own decisions and i did. It would have mattered if you told me to buy that car or not. I was convinced that i was going to buy it until the last day and when i went to see how ****ty the final deal looked i backed out. I learned it on my own mistake and the only thing i lost was $400 worth of tires. But what i gained was a valuable life lesson and i will remember it for the rest of my life.
Yep cultural difference I guess. In Russia your parents have to give you money and buy you fancy cars if they love you. Here in America, the greedy evil Republi-parents don't give their kids money because they don't love them.
thanks for attacking me. You can stick a banana up your mouth or up your anus what ever you like it best and STFU your self.
Seriously, get real. <--- just got over years of dealing with caring for a dying father from a brain tumor and had to eventually put him in a nursing home to give him the proper care he needed. So go get ****ed, *******.
Dont like my opinions and views? Its a free( with all the wiretapping and surveillance i am starting to doubt it) country and i have a freedom of speech. I did not break any forum rules or general laws. Ban me and it will just show how ignorant and close minded people are on this forum.
HERE WE GO WITH THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH. LOL. You are more than free to post whatever you want here. We are more than free to tell you to SHUT THE **** UP when your 'opinions' and 'views' (skewed and narrow minded as they are) piss us off. And if they ban you, it will show how we TOLERATE ignorant and close minded people.
And taras, honestly, from day one, i gave you the benefit of the doubt. I backed you up when people here wouldn't I treated you nicely and gave you advice I told people to lay off you when I felt you were just not understanding things because you're from Russia I talked about the russian mafia with you, and related a story about my friend. And what - you attack half the people here that are MY friends. That are SUBIE friends. You provoke a lot of this, even going so far as to say that this is your personal "blog" sometimes. (see your OT thread) but you just prove to not understand - or be too dumb to get it. I don't get it why you don't listen. I don't get why you need to start debate here. We're friendly people. We don't need this crap.
I am very sorry to hear that about your father. I know how it feels seeing a loved one die. My grandmother was dieing for a year from pancreas(sp) cancer and the whole time she was living in my parents house. And we took care of her until the last minute of her life. She died on her bed with all of the family next to her.
i wish people could just understand that everyone has different opinions and views on situations like this. No one is right or wrong and people are just beating a pile of poo with a stick.
NO, you don't give a **** about Tom's grandfather. Not one ****. You only replied to tell him about your personal plight. You only care because it gives you an opportunity to talk about yourself some more.
Well i have my views that are for some reason are stupid and close minded by your and other peoples book. At the same time i consider your views and other peoples views here as close minded. So we are in equal situation here. And i am not the only who has been out spoken about my views. Echowrx was and he did not get beaten for what he said.
Well, maybe he didn't. I think a lot of people here are not fond of you because we gave you good advice with the wmc thread - and you didn't take it. You DID, eventually, but it took days - weeks .. and now a lot of people want you gone because you're still a "newbie" yet you talk like you know everything. Just relaying how I see it. I could be wrong, though .. but judging by the number of attacks on you, I'm probably right.
That's because he backs his posts up with facts and proper spelling and grammar and doesn't then spend the next 3 posts fellating himself for being so stellar.
yeah it is but i think it kinda loses its fun when personal attacks start coming that are sticky topics for peoples personal lives. (intentional or not)
True, but does that ever happen? Probably not. So the show must go on and the poo will get lost of sticks broken in it. No i am truly and genuinely sorry to hear about Toms grandfather. I am not like you, cold and heartless. I am sure Tom is a good guy, he has different opinions from me but that is fine.
