yes we will, it's done. took longer than expected though damn piddly things, and i didn't have time to take any pics but oh well you get the idea:biggrin: . but now i'm gonna go beak in the clutch a bit.
^well you will have the snow tires so that's and advantage there, but i have a couple plans in the works too though, so it should be fun. the car is so much better with a manual i don't know how you gone so long still with the auto.
so here is my latest parts car that is donating some parts to my ice racer:biggrin: it has already donated rear suspension and rear swaybar, soon the fronts will be swapped too. also the cage at least part of the cage will be going in the green car:biggrin:
nice! caged! this is going to be awesome. no fear this year lol. so whats going to happen to the parts car after it has been parted? hmm that cage is going to firm up your chassis, and if you get blizzaks i have lost my edge. i need to find more stuff to do to keep up! center diff lock here i come.
^ the car will most likely be scrapped as the front of the frame is bent all to hell, and i will most likely mangle the inside as i cut out the cage:biggrin: and before it is scrapped it will be used as target practice ( notice the two holes in the driver's rear quarter, luckily my friend just used a .22 since there is a gas tank in the trunk with gas still in it:eek3: needless to say he remembered that after he shot it:laugh: ) and yes your gonna have to come up with something since now i will also have blizzaks and a rear welded diff.
well dont let him shoot the drivers door! hmm welded rear huh??? yikes. i really gotta start scrounging. :looks at downpipe in closet: hmm.........
i am using all of the rear section and the bottom side section, i'm removing the top front section to eliminate dangers to my noggon:biggrin: for normal driving.
since it started to snow i figure it's time for a drive, not too fun yet as the snow was real slushy but i had fun anyways:biggrin:
^ not stock, wrx struts with some stiff full length springs, i already have the rears on my car and they are very nice:biggrin:
well the parts car is offically gone now, off to the scrap yard, in a fashion anyone could be proud of, pics comming soon of transportation to the scrapyard(it will make you rofl for sure) i don't have those pics yet as my friend needs to send them to me since the ex took the digital camera. but the cage is cut out and ready to go in my car, and here are some pics to give you an idea of what is to come:biggrin:
haha nice, i cant wait to see the removal pics. did you completely strip the car? how far did you take it down?
yeah it was pretty bare:biggrin: not much left of it lol and here are the pics of transportation, and just so everyone knows the scrap yard is only about a 1/4 mile from the shop. and we even got $15 bucks for the shell:biggrin:
