P&L are going thru a whole new restructuring from the top.

I'll help check around with some rally friends.

    Good to go! Thanks!

It'll be a couple weeks before our schedules work together, but after talking to him this sounds like a much better plan than the dealer.

:D:p:D:p I love my 39... It's plenty fast for DD and road racing...Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their bulls@!t

And, it has been proven that the 39 can go 11.5 just like any 400+ hp turbo.;)

Yeah the stock wing and scoop are huge aren't they? Too much attention for me. I wonder how much I'll need a wing for road racing though. I was thinking about that element tuning video where his wing broke off and he ended up spinning out at 150mph. Not sure what kind of speeds to expect at BIR.

My transmission should be just about finished, just waiting for a call to come pick it up. We ended up going with billet selector forks and high speed gear ratios. Put in a 6 puck clutch disc while it was out too. This should be an awesome set up for RR.

Depending on how well you have your suspension and tires setup the wing may not become a factor. Bring some suspension tool, tire pressure gauges, tq wrench, extra fuel, comfortable helmet, soft sole driving shoes, bleed your brakes, bed your brakes, watch some Initial D and bring an open mind. LOL

Beat up on the STI today at BIR today. Handled everything I could toss at it except for the last lap when the side fitting popped off the wastegate. Was wondering where all the extra horsepower came from suddenly...lucky it survived I guess. Definately hit 29.5psi but that's the max my AEM truboost will read so I'm sure it went higher than that. I also thought I popped an inline fuse from my BAP, but I'm pretty sure through trial and error I determined it was fuel starving at 1/2 tank. Seemed like a lot of fuel to starve on, but once I filled it back up and went right back out it eliminated the issue. Maybe time for a surge tank/external pump set up...

Got some great feedback on what I need to work on too. Braking, throttle, shifting, well, pretty much everything I guess haha! My tires definately took some abuse today. Once I got a little more comfortable with the oversteer a lot of the back corners were almost like driving in the winter. Is was a great time overall. Long gears/30R/E85 are a great match for road racing (besides being too much power for me or my tires to effectively put down ;)). Redlined 4th quite a few times at 120 on the short track!

Great job Nuke for a powerful, reliable, trackable, tune, and great job Vannde for a block that withstands our abuse!

Musashi was great to work with as well. Great instruction, great attitude, amazing driver. Riding in the RS was sick!

Looking forward to next time. Tthanks to everyone involved.

Hey man it was great to meet you today. I am pretty sure you passed me on every session we had out on the track (sometimes more than once). That car is a beast and you drove it well.

Yeah, damn equal length headers. I didn't expect the tone to be that different! Oh well...I'll have to put those OEM pnp'd on my bugeye so I have at least one good sounding Subie.

Ouch, definately melted the oil return line yesterday. I guess I'll be heat wrapping that up pipe afterall.

Juk - Glad we were able to meet up at BIR for a track day. You have a steller setup and she should last for a long time that's if you can keep that lead foot of your's off of her lol.

Thanks for letting me do an impressions test drive of your car. I'll be posting a review of the Five Amigo's very soon.

So, I flat foot shifted from 3rd into 4th tonight where it stayed in 4th. Shifter moves freely, not in the shift pattern, just wherever I want in the "box" of possible motion. I.e., I can go from where it would be in 1st and just go straight right to where it would be in 5th, down to where it would be in 6th and back to where it would be in second, and anywhere in between freely (without pushing in the clutch).

Broken selector fork? Note that they are PPG billet selector forks with the long gears.

    What do you guys think?

Edit: Oh nice, then it started hailing and I couldn't move my car from the driveway. Awesome night for the STI :(

Transmission's back up and running. I either need to get a bigger turbo, or get back on the track to remind me I can't drive to it's potential as it is. I'd like to hit the strip sometime too, haven't done that in years! Anybody doing anything besides proving grounds this month? I have drill and won't be able to make it :(

Glad to see its up and running. It would have been cool to have you come to BIR with us again tomorrow. Depending on funds, maybe DCTC in August if you're down.

dialed in the A/F now that we're getting all the fuel we're asking for. Runs great! Looking at BIR June 18th, anyone gonna be there?
