lol, I could've told you that. Both the WRX and STI stock axleback's are a major airflow restriction when compared to, uh, any aftermarket axleback. I thought proven results came with dyno graphs.. :biggrin:
Sorry my butt doesn't do graphs. Well it was still worth the swap. Me and shinenitelite swapped turbo back exhausts. Now I can just but a different axle back.
My STi catback keeps me from boost creeping on my VF39'd WRX (plus it's not too loud). Best $0 I ever spent on exhaust equipment.
Hmmm. Mine is not Waiting to Exhale....runs just fine. If I were to replace the STi axleback mated to my Maddad catted Stealthback (3"->2.5") it would be for a Maddad Twin-Tip 2.5". I run it for a little more rublez but, most importantly to me, zero drone at highway cruising speeds.
Prodrive works great for me, Maddad > Prodrive axle back = rubles when you want it and no hwy drone :biggrin:

Its oval. Just search axle back in the classifieds. He wants like 250 for it. Doesn't look in that good of shape.
In the midwest fs area...there's a vendor selling a round tip for only $100! I jumped on it, but they claim that they don't have a box to ship it on. Told me they'd keep me updated, and now they aren't answering my pm's or anything. ****ers...
