8ball: Answer hazy. They will fit, you'll need different tophats in the rear (the 04+ ones), and you'll probably have some crazy front camber from them.
Strut mounts changed in 2004 so the answer is, "no"; not an opinion, just fact. As stated above you would need the 04 rear top hats to do this. I can't answer the camber issue off-hand; but there is a difference between the wagons and sedans so most likely the above post is right there, too. Good luck, eh.
The rear springs got changed from a straight profile to a tapered profile. The tophat changed accordingly. The strut will fit regardless, but depending on the spring you use, the tophat may have to be the older or newer style. Plus you may need a spacer so the center nut can actually be tightened down, otherwise there's play and clunking. TiC has this spacer. Most aftermarket springs you buy will be of the newer tapered style, and you will need the 04+ tophats. It doesn't matter what car/year they come from, just needs to be the newer style tophat. Newer type spring = newer type tophat.
