I am not sure when I will have these in. I paied for them last night, so I am pretty sure that they will be shipped today (wednesday). I do not think that I will have them for friday. Saturday is a maybe. I will post in here when i recieve them.
Flaps are shipping out to day, and are due early next week. so I will most likely have them at firestone next friday.
I have a tracking number. still no delivery date though. plan on early next week is my guess. would there be any interest in a photoshoot after everyone has their flaps installed?
i'm planning on paying cash when i get them from you... is that cool, or are you in need of the monies soonerly? rally armor photoshoot... sounds like fun! if we got any really cool pics maybe they'd put us on their website as advertising
Just heard that there is a LARGE box sitting at home from Rally Armor. I will bring its contents to firestone tonight. bring your monies.
I was planning on showing up around 7 or 8, and staying till 10 or 11. Grimmspeed makes skid plates for WRXs
I could be there between 7 and 7:50...have to work at 8pm.:emo: And yes, Grimmspeed has skidplates in 2 different sizes/gauges.
check is fine. I will head down alittle earlier. I will plan on being there at 7, those those of you who work late can get yours. just opened the box. we have lotsa flaps. also it looks like you will all get a free sticker and key chain.
Zombie: did you just send me paypal for your flaps? I recived a paypal today with no SN on listed. let me know and i will mark you off the list.
That was me. We should meet up and I can get you those parts you wanted too. Also, do you still have that green RS wing?
Ok cool. I wil mark you as paid. It would be great if i could get those parts from you. I will send you a pm about times and the RS wing.
^ cool! post up some pics. I will be at firestone on friday night with the remaining flaps. pls come and pick them up.
Here are some pics. Before and after. Once I got going, I forgot to take pics of the install. If you really need them, there are some on the RallyArmor website. But these are the basics on an 02. The install was pretty easy once I got the 'line up' figured out on the front. The backs are a cinch. Derek
Oh by the way, the only thing I didn't like about the flaps was how they create a little cup. They'll probably catch some road debris. Only on the fronts though. I got a crappy picture, but you kinda get the idea. The backs are not that way, the crap will fall through. I'm sure this is that way on any of the flaps. One last thing, when they say the inner lining tears easily. They aren't kidding. I figured that out after I looked to see where it tears. Crap! There it is a tear. I fixed it with some nice duct tape on the back of the liner. (as seen in the pic )
If anyone wants some help with the install, let me know. If someone puts an install party together, I'd be glad to help.
flappin here are my 'before and after' pics... in my case the mud splash was on 'before' and which is why i added the flap 'after'! as for installing them... i didn't take off my wheels, i just used a super stubby screwdriver, or a phillips 1/4inch drive bit in 1/4 inch ratchet wrench. i thought the hardest part was getting out the old plastic fasteners... which just want to strip or crack apart when you try to turn them with a screwdriver. i hate those things, bah!
^ nice! I found out it is 100% easier with the tires off. the extra room is very nice when messing with lining stuff up.
we should still think about a group photo. even if there inst a group install (seems like everyone already has them on!)
2007 WRX Wagon Fitment Issues Ok, just went to install mine and discovered this. Even though the packaging says 2007, only 1 of the 4 holes lines up. I haven't even checked the back yet. Heck, I don't even have 4 bolt positions to begin with. The underside of the sideskirt is different too. Wanted to see if anyone else had encountered this issue and how it was resolved. Thanks, Sean
