It's kind of a shame. With two rally-x events cancelled for the year, I would think folks would jump for another chance to get some time in the dirt.
my assumption is the lack of entrants may be caused by the "school" factor. not just being able to go out and drive may be holding back some of the veterans of the sport .02 dave if you are at 13 or 14 by the 4th i will be there for a entry. make carl do it too
Have extensive experience in Rally Cross with a good results, people person, ability to teach others, etc, etc... Bah, be a true American. Spend what you don't have. Yes, unfortunately that is the cut-off.
That very well maybe an issue for some. However, I don't know one person that couldn't benefit from additional instruction. Carl hasn't signed up? Oh man.....he needs all the seat time he can get before snowdrift...especially with the new power.
Generally, I think you'll probably get more seat time and mroe driving at a school day than at a normal rallycross. Last year it seemed like people got a ton of time actually driving compared to a typical event.
I will register tonight when I get home. Can someone send me just the paypal link or do I have to reregister? I'm #8.
please register and use that linky also BIG BUMP. Everything is set to have a great school. Last year was so much fun (thanks to Mark ~Vector)....Can't wait!!!!!
I would like to hop in on this as I think it would be a great way to get into the sport. However I dont think I will have my new trans in by that time and I know that my 5er wont take the abuse
nice! ill have to get signed up for this as ill be back in MN next week... although the wrx is sold maybe i'll test the foresters ability in the dirt ha looking forward to getting back up north
I registered but halted at the paypal screen so I'm registered (#8) but not payed. I needed to get my lol bucks number to Mike.
I just found this thread yesterday because I am just starting to get big into "rallying" but 2 days ago wrecked the car so I dont know if it will be together by then so I would love to but cant sign I wont know by the 4th
i work sat. night, and i assume i need to go to that in order to do the sunday stuff. so i cant do it. lame work is lame
altough the school session is encouraged I'm not going to stop you from taking advantage of the seat time and one-on-one learning you will receive from the instructors at the school sunday. ..in other words...sign up Dan!!!
i would love to go. but have no money this will all teach u DD driving it will show u how to keep ur car incontroll if u go into a slide
ok i'm in, that makes 11 that fully completed registration don't know how many are paying with other means
Alright, I am signed up. I may or may not have a passanger seat in the gti...can we just ratchet strap an instructor to the roll cage? LOL
yes he can co-drive your car...but that means when the instructor is in the car one of you will have to be out of it....so make sure he brings a car you can sit in while the other is on their lap
does SCCA prohibit 3 people in car? I think I remember seeing that. It was fun having 3 people in the car at Team O'Neil. Or 4 people lol
I'm pretty sure they do. I'd have to refer that question to Erik for the official answer, but IIRC I asked once before a got No as an answer
I'd participate if I had a car to participate with. I may just donate the entry fee to get you guys to the minimum number if it comes down to that.
Classroom location The classroom Saturday night will be held at Davanni's in Arden Hills. School hours - 6-9PM Location 3673 Lexington Ave N Arden Hills, MN 55126
As per the rules, you are only allowed one passenger and they have to be in the forward seating area. Sorry guys.
sheen or dave (if your not teaching) if you want to co drive with me you can, we can just swap out for instructers as needed.
