Any google map link or address or name of the place? I'm not too familiar in that area, thanks in advance!
At the corner of Cty Rd 75 and 65th St, you go one block east. Basically it is the long building just above the "St" in "65th St".
Not to toot my own horn, but if anyone's up in the north metro, hit up Perfect Car Wash in Brooklyn Center (Shell @ Brooklyn Blvd and 69th), buy the cheapest wash, and throw a dollar or two at whoever's running prep for the car wash. Hell, with a couple dollar tip, you could probably get some of us to sing and dance while we get the mud off, that's how slim tips have been this winter.
Instructor Feedback It's great to hear so many people enjoyed the school. Does anyone have any specific feedback about the instruction? It can be REALLY difficult to decide what to say when riding along as an instuctor. What discussion was most helpful/valuable/fun? What was least helpful/waste of time/annoying? Is there anything you wanted to hear that you didn't get from any of us? J Cox #558
I think when Amy was telling me to initiate the turns, that was very helpful. And when she showed me, by driving it, how to flick it (even though it was exaggerated a bit), that helped tremendously as well. Also, when to brake and how to enter the pin turn was also great advice.
I think the best would be just say what you'd be doing as a running dialog. When Amy drove mine, I really asked for just that (not that I needed to, she would talked the whole time while driving anyway - love ya scandia )
I think the instructors did a really good job. I liked sitting in the passenger seat as they showed by example when to set up turns and when to break... even if one instructor did stall out my car a couple times
