Rallyx 2017 Info of Events

We may have had lots of rain this spring but that won't stop us from having an awesome season! what is rallyx you say??? well let me tell you.....

"Rallycross also know as “RallyX” is a popularized type of racing most commonly found in the United States and Canada. Rallycross was introduced to the world in the late 60’s when it started as a television show. It eventually made it’s way to the Xgames in 2010 where it was labelled “SuperRally”. RallyX consists of solo driving on grass, dirt, and sometimes pavement. Rallycross can be confused with auto cross because Rallycross often takes place on dirt: therefore it has often been referred to as “Auto cross on dirt”. Rallycross consists of wide landscapes on dirt and grass that utilize cones to “map” the course for each driver. Unlike many types of racing, Rallycross is quite affordable which only requires a hard top vehicle and a basic registration fee. SCCA RallyCross

What is RallyCross and what do I need to do it too?



RallyCross is similar to autocross, but on dirt. A short course is set up using cones. Cars must navigate the course as fast as possible without hitting any cones.



Events are free to watch - or some people even will give a ride-along if you ask! Bring a chair and some sunscreen or just walk around the pits, everyone is friendly and usually willing to talk about their car or the event.



A driver’s license, a street car and an approved helmet are all that is required to get started in this exciting form of motor sport. There is a racing class for almost any car or truck. You’ll see stock street car, daily drivers, to totally modified racing cars.

Where do we race and when?



We race where there is enough dirt! Currently, we race at the Rice County Fairgrounds, Faribault, Minnesota. We also race at the Isanti County Fairgrounds, Cambridge, Minnesota. Check the website or Facebook to find the next race location.
