    Had a handsome long legged fella stop by today and assist with some tire swapping. The winters were from the BRZ. So they aren’t really sized for the Forester. But they should work for the short trips around town in the snows.

    Oh, and I nearly forgot to share the good news. We got to celebrate together me obtaining official handicap signs for my vehicles from the DMV while he was here. It was a great day!

    That's actually kinda funny because we were joking about it being the opposite. He said we dropped a couple inches like we cut the coils. But then I told him we achieved the low look while still maintaining the cush ride and full suspension functionality. Win win!

    Both a lift and a drop at the same time! Smaller wheel and rim diameter means that the car literally dropped a couple of inches while the wheel gap became much more monster truck-y.

    Nah, guy hit that rock straight on, look at the damage to the leading edge of the skid plate.

    This rock is there because people would always drive over the curb and damage the irrigation system and cause massive flooding in the lot. Guess a giant rock doesn't stop stupid.

    I'm kind of impressed to see a picture of a vehicle falling victim to a giant rock that's not at the Cambridge Walmart... Haha.

    (For those not in the know, the Cambridge Walmart Rock even has/had its own Facebook page because it happened so frequently for a stretch)

    That looked more fake than that viewpoint in Gran Turismo. 125 MPH on gravel is insane.

    I think my favorite part (aside from the ridiculously sweet sounding engine), and I know this is probably lame, is how you can essentially "see" the wing working. Watching the dust/dirt basically surrounding the rear end but is completely cutoff right at the lip of the trunk where the wind is going through the wing. The wing almost looks superimposed because it remains perfectly clean the whole time.

    I don't know Sam, the driver, but Krista the co-driver and I have crossed paths many times and she's just a genuinely great person.

    125MPH on gravel ain't that insane though. I've done it in a 2.0L N/A FWD Sentra. Sometimes during an actual race ;)

    All tha parts!!!!!! I like that the kids jacket says “We the Jeeple”. Keep owners love to spend mod money on their Jeeps! Especially for the free stickers. There was just a Donut episode about it. Lmao

    That is totally true. I didn't notice it but now that you mention it its super cool. I think that (and the angle) contribute to it looking like you are playing a video game.
    The engine sounds so good too and I love hearing the navigator call out the pace notes.

    I got confused the first time that I watched it. I thought that I turned on the tv to a game of “Dirt”. So, my conclusion is that they have obviously had this 3D camera tech for quite a long time now and we are just getting to see and use it in real life. Super cool. I prefer the view from the drones trailing behind though! Best “new thing” to come to rally in a long time!

    It's pretty sweet watching 360 camera footage from snowboarding. And probably really anything "cool" and worthy of recording.
