I didn’t have anyone to snap the pic with me in my chaise lounge chair with the 0w20 in my banana hammock.
Is this heaven? No, this is Gary New Duluth... Some random used car lot with Subarus as far as the eye can see. Haha.
The name is "New Duluth Auto" according to their web site, and it is in Duluth, MN. The contacts are Javan Lammi and Mike Lammi. When you zoom in on that first picture the name on the sign is "New Duluth Auto". Who da phuck is Gary? So...pre-owned Subarus picked up at auction from all over the country that have been through some sort of natural disaster? Or does this "Gary" guy run a transmission shop in Duluth that specializes in CVT repair? Sixty-one Subarus listed in current inventory.
Hahaha. Gary is the "town" I believe. No idea what's going on there, tho. Must be swindling enough people, tho, because they've got a Hellcat sitting out front that I'm guessing belongs to someone there.
It's interesting that their address is listed as just Duluth but it's definitely in Gary, which is right next to New Duluth. Haha.
Mystery solved. Gary, MN is a small town north and east of Fargo, by the White Earth Indian Reservation. The "Gary" and "New Duluth" you are seeing on your phone map are labeled neighborhoods within the city limits of Duluth, MN.
My favorite thing about that cartoon is that you could replace “head gasket” with a plethora of other parts!
I'm guessing Mick or Mason own a Subaru. It's a pretty obscure thing to put in a comic for consumption by the general public.
On one hand it looks like an Aztek, a modern interpretation. On the other hand I kind of like the look. Just keep the black cladding on the non-WRX models please.
Apparently there's more than one... Haha. (Poor quality pic because it's a screenshot of a video. This thing sounds so ridiculously awesome.)
My STi outside temp sensor must be in the engine bay somewhere. Because it typically reads 122 degrees. Even when it’s 10 degrees outside. Guess that the previous owner moved it or detached it at some point and didn’t put it back
