Very entertaining! Makes me want a Subarute. Enjoy! Part 1 Part 2 @Krazylegz1485 Pretty sure that you should do this to your wagon but with the sedan swap also.
There was a silver bugeye wagon on Craigslist a few weeks ago for $2000. Had a smashed rear quarter and broken out back window. Would've been perfect.
I want to like that hood but the scoop is too far forward. The rest is chock full of poopy butthole. Especially the wheel gap.
I guess this is as good of a place as any to put this, but this would be my ultimate dream to get for the Forester! http://www.popularmechanics.com/adventure/outdoors/g2585/8-roof-top-tents/
If you wanna get in on a sweet new one, there's a guy that has a Kickstarter going right now on a new design. I don't know a ton about these, but it looks frickin awesome. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/roominroom/skycamp-the-perfect-roof-top-tent-for-travelers-on http://unofficialnetworks.com/2017/...f-top-tent-that-sets-up-in-less-than-a-minute
@Krazylegz1485 How many roofs are rated to carry >600 lbs ? Figuring ~200 and ~150 for each adult, ~50 lbs for kids, + 150lbs for the actual tent... Maybe that's a dumb question, but I really don't know. I bet that thing would look boss on my WRX
To be honest with you, I have no idea. My assumption, tho, would be that it'd have to be fine as long as it anchors at the proper points. If a car rolls over "gently" onto the roof the structure doesn't just straight up collapse, does it? And the car itself obviously weighs way more than 600 lbs. I don't know. Perhaps I'll try to find that out later today.
@Krazylegz1485 i just figured with your vast knowledge that you'd have all roof capacities memorized. No need to look it up, it was just something that popped into my head. I love the concept of those roof tents but would likely need a beefier truck than even my wife's outback.
Just saw this abomination cruising around Brooklyn Park. "Alan" did a good job of hitting almost every ricer cliché. Primer gray, obnoxious body kit, double-stack aluminum spoiler, chrome euro tail lights, questionable body work (diy targa top), and a big exhaust tip. Sounded about as good as it looks
Lol, right. It was at least interesting. Looked like the cut edges were just smeared with body filler or something and no attempt was made to make it look clean. I'm assuming he didn't think to stiffen the body either.
