You should hit ten psi before 500 miles. JMO though. Not saying go over 4.5k, just get some cylinder pressure to make those rings seat. Otherwise, drive the piss outta it for a couple thou, then the fun begins

Crower 272. And yes, it is lumpy. And with the downpipe leak it sounds like an F350 Super Duty turbo diesel or something.

I hit 5psi today on the freeway. I'm slowly bringing it up to wastegate pressure as I reach 500 miles. Tom, I may need to you come log with your laptop and adjust stuff for this.

sounds like you are going to be making a trip to the west side. it is miles. Good timing for all this logging needed by tom, right after he does not have a job so he is free... sure is weird the way things work out.

On 92octane I'm looking for around 380-400. But I'm not real sure how that'll work. It's the race gas tune I'm most concerned with ;)

^how are you controlling the boost like that? are you just being really careful on the revs and shifting early?

i wanna hear this beast run. i wanna hear a lumpy subie. it had better strike fear into the hearts of honda and muscle car owners alike. i demand the striking of fear!

hahaha...I was asking about what psi you'll be running on pump gas? And yes, race gas is priority numero uno!

    1)110 octane race fuel=30psi/OMGTMHP4U:laugh:
    2) 92 octane pump gas=??psi/380-400AWHP:cool:

Its not that hard with a decent sized turbo. I've been running with zero wastegate for two months, and I have to really get into it to see over 9 psi. Since he's prob keeping it under 4500rpm for the most part, no worries.

Tom, I know you said to come to you, and I'm not trying to be lazy here. But the car seems to be stumbling between 2000-3000rpms @ around 25-50% TPS. Still no CELs or anything, but Stephanie can concur on this one, it stumbles noticeably between 2-3k. Not sure if I want to drive it all the way across town like this. Would it be possible for you to stop by sometime before Friday and log this thing?

BTW, I hit 8psi today on the freeway ;). Doubt that has anything to do with my stumbling, since that was earlier this afternoon, and the stumbling started on the way home this evening. It seemed to like it.

Is the stumbling like a misfire of some sort? I forgot if you have a wideband of any sort. I was getting over-rich misfires for a little bit because I was hitting 10.2:1 at like 3 psi. I fixed that quickly.

Yeah, it feels like misfire, but I'm not throwing any codes for it. It may be just too rich possibly. I wouldn't be surprised since I've filled my tank twice today. Filled the tank 3 times in 328 miles. So obviously it is getting PLENTY of fuel.

What are you running for em?? Sounds like a crossover stumble on a utec, but I am not sure if you are running on a reflash or the utec.

Yeah, I can come over and check the fuel trims for you. Did you get your exhaust leak fixed yet? That needs to be done before we can get an accurate reading at the tailpipe with the wbo2.

Ok, well I just looked over your logs again. Fuel trims were within 1% and the car was crossing over into closed loop around 1.75psi and then running at around 12.5:1 at the 2ish psi that we were running (according to the stock front o2).

So I guess if it is running rich, it would be at those higher boost levels (around the 5 you're hitting now) and I'll need to use the wbo2 as the front o2 won't be very trustworthy there.

Tom is here now, playing with the map. It seems the over richness possibly caused the early misfires at around the 50 mile mark. Which put the car into limp mode. After clearing the ECU, it runs fine. 12.19psi in 4th @ 70% ish throttle and 4000 rpms ;)
