The difference there is, I don't give a single flying **** about your opinion on the matter, and I don't get tattoos for other people's attention. Putting a swoopy curvy gross diffuser on your car just screams LOOK AT ME I WANT ATTENTION.
Hahahahaha you fall into your own category " stupid people" you should take your own advice. " i don't give a single flying **** about your opinion on the matter" so tell me how that's different than me putting a diffuser on my car for my own pleasure?
The difference is I'll pay for quality? or that the "pleasure" I take from tattoos isn't based on other people paying attention to me? Or that I don't go posting if I should go to a 100% made in the usa same materials scratcher and get a tribal tattoo in a guy's basement, instead of paying for quality? I dunno, pick one.
When I joined the Navy, my MEPs station served the Gary, Indiana and South Chicago areas as well as Indianapolis. So, my entire boot camp division was gang members. And they all had things like Chi-town and whatever area they were representin' tattooed somewhere on them. Since I was, at the time, living in an upperclass suburb of Indianapolis, one of the guys scrawled out my hometown in old english. We decided that nobody would know what town that was, so we'd be more vague and just write "Suburbs" in old english instead. I had it as a hand drawn patch on a hoodie I wore, and not long after being out of bootcamp, I went to the local tattoo shop and had them etch it across my upper back, shoulder to shoulder. So, yeah, I have "SUBURBS" tattooed across my back in old english.
Wait so why should I care about your opinion? Maybe I would take it into consideration if I asked for it, but clearly you didn't see that all I asked was if anyone bought it. Thank you for time
You shouldn't care about my opinion, yet clearly you do if you're still wasting your time trying to rationalize your purchases to me or compare your purchases with mine...
Personally I vote for making your own out of plywood. It saves a bunch of money and looks about the same. Worked well for Biohazard.
Haha yes it is, they blew past me at Road America many times like I was standing still. Then they broke down... again... Anyways aero on actual race cars is functional (in theory at least) and the byproduct is it looks cool. On a street car I think its just a waste of money.
If you don't plan on tracking your car then don't install aero. Simple as that. I've had my fair share of "replica" parts and they're not worth the money at all, they fit funky and it costs too much for being worthless. Those parts are usually made out of some piece of crap fiberglass that's gonna flex and crack. Soon I'll be building my own rear diffuser for much cheaper than 350 bucks, out of 1/8" aluminum and welding on the fins.
The ARP one is a lot cheaper, this is my second option if I don't make my own. http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/...t=29728&ph=1&gclid=CMbL6oqy4b0CFYt9OgodnHIA_g
But but then I would have to share with the rest of the class. I CNC out a lot of cool little niknaks for my car , but it takes the fun out of it when I gotta make it for a bunch of people. Therefore I do not machine many parts for other people.
The one I see is $550 after shipping... http://www.forcewerkz.com/2002-2007-subaru-impreza-wrx-sti-vt-rear-diffuser-frp/
I'm just busting your balls man. Don't think just because it's made in the USA it's quality is all some people are saying... Just look at McDonald's, made in the USA.. Not great. Or derp, Made in the USA presumably... Also not great!
Forcewerkz... sounds like a quality company. They must be super legit because they use a 'z' at the end. Seriously, that sounds like a bunch of children came up with that name. I'm as high quality as they come, mother****er. You're just salty from me calling out your "hardass" little front you tried to put up when you joined.
