So I installed new front struts (Tokico blues) with 1 1/4 inch lowering springs.
I have new rear struts and springs. (should be a 1 inch drop) problem is I think the stance is perfect right now..
Should I keep the stock springs, and replace the struts? otherwise I'm installing new springs and adding sag spacers anyway. I think avoiding sag spacers is a good thing. But not sure what the rates are.
I can only imagine the shorter springs are stiffer. But then again this car understeers.. (WHY!?!?!)
So anyone know about the stock vs Tokico spring rate?
    Anyone have advice?

    #$%@& Strut bolts!
Right side was a serious PIA. Took everything I had to bust them loose.
    Left side I have destroyed:
    2 1/2drive sockets.
    1 1/2 drive ratchet handle.
    1 gear wrench.

I actually put the gear wrench on and jacked on the end. All I did was compress the strut. I compressed it about 1 1/2 then the wrench gave way.
The 2 sockets bit the dust on a 2 foot breaker bar. Yeah I might not look it but I'm bad ass. I split the #$%^@#*s..
I cant get much heat on it with a torch because all the metal sucks up the heat. I think I'm going to buy an impact socket and a longer bar.
After that it's gonna taste cut off wheel.. (after I buy the new bolts that is..)

So still no advice on using the stock springs huh?

OK another socket bites the dust.. This time a 1/2 drive 3/4 (damn close to 19 mm..)
Oh and a 3/8 handle just sent it's guts spewing through the garage.
    Everything got soaked again.
I whacked the snot out of the heads with a hammer. (I'd love to hit the nut side but that will just damage the threads)
    Sprayed it again.
    Whacked it again.
    Sprayed it again..
Tomorrow I call around to see who has the bolts. After all this abuse even if they come loose I'm going to want to replace them.
If the bolts are less than new tools I'm cutting them off.
