This is a job I'm about to do. Where are you getting the old bearings pressed out?
I was thinking of seeing if I could buy a new hub with bearings already in place for my 01 RS to save the hassle - especially as the hubs can also be scored. Any info greatly appreciated :)

My guess is you wont find a full assembly like that. At least not from an OEM.

I have someone to do them for me at the dealership I work at. I thought I saw a post a while back talking about a good bearing to go with, but I can't find the post...that's why I was asking.

There are really only a couple companies that make bearings, so the quality of the product doesn't vary much.

Shouldn't be any variation in the seals....that doesn't make any sense.

yeah Ive read that on NASIOC but when I just looked at parts from rockauto they listed 2 different inner ones for the front that were the same brand, I guess the only thing that was different was the Width dimension on the seal one is .296 and the other is .315, is that gonna matter the OD, Shaft, and Bore sizes are the same....yeah also checked my driver wheel for play...yeah its totally shot
