Restoration Project on 1995 Subaru Impreza 2.2L

My brother crashed his car two days ago. I'll post pictures soon.

The car has 89K, new tires, AWD, and a automatic transmission

    So Far/Parts needed:

    Hood (is a pyramid)
Radiator (A/C Maybe? might not want to fix, How do I close of the A/C line if I'm not using it anymore?)
    Driver side Head Light
    Driver side fender
Battery and entire brackets assembly + base

The part of the car that the fender is attached to is pushed in 12"+
(Weld it? what is the best way to fix so the new fender has something to bolt to on the front?)

The timing belt cover is cracked and has a 2" hole in it.
(Can I just epoxy it or should I replace the cover?)

I will post more as I find more stuff needed to fix. I'm trying to fix this car for cheap!

    Replace the cover.
but defenelty check the belt, and all the timing. if it got wacked and skipped a tooth, it could have bad repercussions.

Don't you mean repair? To restore the car would most likely mean several thousand dollars worth of factory sheetmetal, if you want to actually restore the car.

You want something for the fender to bolt to? Buy the sheetmetal to replace it properly, or pay someone some money for a decent amount of time on a framerack. Or get creative with a hammer, bench vice, and a welder.

It is a '95 2.2. They can contact valves on a non-interference motor, but it is really really hard.

My brother started and drove the car a block after the acident, It ran just fine he said.

I'll replace the timing belt cover.

The metal work I think I'll weld? or replaceIt seems like it a large single piece that the fender and headlights bolt too. Should I just get un bent section cut out of a junker and weld them in place of the bent and torn metal on my car?

    You could do that.

Get out a tape measure and start comparing distances. For instance, each strut toer to the opposite corner, and so on. There is a good chance with a hit that does that much damage things aren't straight anymore.

You'll need an upper core support as well. The center support could be salvaged. It's going to to be some work though. I wonder how the end of the frame rail looks.

From what I can tell the frame rail end is what the bummer attaches two Luckly the truck was high enough that it went over the top of the bumper and frame end the bummer is attached too. I'll post more pictures as I make progress. I really don't think anything bent as far as alignment and frame goes just the sub body of the car (if thats what its called) where the head light, front fender, and top of the radiator are mounted too.

The biggest worry there is that the strut tower may have gotten tweaked at a new angle. If your looking for junkyard parts try car-part.com you will find ANYTHING you need.
