    total paid by EACH guy is $9...

    total paid by all 3 together is $27

    if the waiter pocketed $2 then yes there is a missing $1

    but... seeing as $30 minus $5 = $25 +$1x3 = $28 then the $2 pocketed by waiter makes the total $30 even...

    the answer is now the plane wont take off, and NO the nozzle wont still pump gas a mile down the road!!!

    $1.666 - 1 = $.6666 balance after refund
