I think 93 Octane is only available at 2 or 3 stations. Today at work, I went by the Buffalo Wild Wings on 55th and saw a WRB 11-12 STI with green wheels. Went back later after work to check out the car but it wasnt there. Instead, a S/UGM 06-07 STI was there. New to the area, where do you all meet?
Saw a half white half blue bugeye with blue racing stripes yesterday. Later at night, went to Apache Mall and some hoon in a white legacy wagon flew by doing powerslides and donuts in the empty lot. Unfortunately for him, the cop was around the corner and pulled him over. I feel bad for him but I also laughed my ass off. Sorry bud!
There are a lot of new subaru owners in town. I have seen the white/blue one many times, the paint scheme makes me want to vomit every time I see it. If you are going to play in a empty lot you need to be aware of what is around, but that does suck for them. The other day I was on west circle drive and had someone pull up behind me in a WRB 06-07 with a carbon fiber hood. I was initially thinking "hey fellow subaru owner, nice car," then he decided to do a Honda fly by, driving like a jackass, all I could do is shake my head.
In Winona we normally have Wednesday night meets during the summer...not exclusive to Subaru but there is normally 2-5 that show up.

We park in the lot by Kwik Trip, walk over to Zazas, eat, and then go back and hang out. In a college town some of the stuff people do to try to impress us is hilarious. So many burnouts, speeders, and failed attempts to slide a corner.
I know all to well about that having lived there for nearly 6 years. I even witnessed the stupidity during the F&F craze from the first movie. College kids are retarded most of the time and the townies are even dumber.

Nice, I still want one of those. Hard to justify though. From what I understand GIAC is the only worthwhile option currently. Imola might be a vendor for them. I know they sell evoms, but apparently the evoms tunes for the ctt/ptt aren't really noticeable/worthwhile.
I am from Wisconsin but go to school in Winona, and would love to meet some of the people over here. I can't really make the trip home every weekend for meets in my hometown. It would be cool if we could get a regular meet going for South East MN.
I live in Winona as well, we occasionally meet up at Huff Center. There is a group called "507 Moderns Car Club" on Facebook. You've probably seen my STI at some point in time...otherwise I normally ride my Ruckus to class at WSU.
I go to SMU so I am up the hill most of the time. I found one other wrx at SMU I think driven by one of our hockey players, but I will keep an eye out for you. I requested to join the club so hopefully I will be able to join.

So it's been a long time since we organized any sort of formal assembly, anyone down for meeting up for dinner somewhere and try to meet the youngbloods coming into the Subaru community here? I'm hesitant, but I'm thinking of putting the meeting info onto the 507 Subies Facebook group as well. Wouldn't be a bad idea for some names/faces to meet up in person and get friendly.
