Yeah I go to UWL it is a really good school! A lil harder then where I was going before UW-Richland hahaha. My gpa messed up a lil but I hope to get it back up this fall!

-This weekend doesnt work for me but if we could make it a few weeks from now that would be better. I have one more week of summer school then I am free of that early morning stuff! Sunday nights would work really good for me to because I work thur-sunday.

Also I wanted to tell you guys that I run a forum in La Crosse. it is just a bunch of cars from around here and we get together and cruise and hang ouch and such. You guys will have to cruise down one of these days soo we can show them some real subys! The site is www.laxstreets.com

by my count we have 4-5 "noobs" in town and several others that we havent heard from in a while. All together we could have a pretty decent group if we decided to meet - or have a weekly or at least monthly set time to meet.

 

if you guys ever seen a yellow wrx down there in the past couple months, its me. it would be great if we could all get together, last time i was down there i saw a bunch of other kids in honda's getting together in some parking lot across from wendy's. i was tempted to race them. lol

I'm there! I fixed my exhaust leaks - sounds/feels much better now, I'm pretty suprised what difference the copper/silicone sealant made.

 

I wont be able to make it to this one but I will deff be at the next one! I hope you guys take a few pictures and post them so I can see what I missed!

Happened at the parking lot at St. Mary's.

Unfortunately, it has happened to me way too many times.

Egged in the parking lot at Chateau.

Scraped in parking lot at the airport.

Keyed in the parking lot at Target.

Now hit at work.

I have had all fixed previously except the mark from the egg shell. I am going to get that repainted at the same time as the rear bumper.

As a warning, the insurance lady told me the worst place in town for random destruction to cars is actually the South Wallmart parking lot. I am actually very cautious about where I park, guess I am having a run of bad luck.

However, the good news is that the body shop guy at Clements is very cool and says that he can do a nice job properly prepping and painting my new aftermarket body goodies. He understands that I am going to be very picky about the results and stated he will make sure it turns out right. So I will have something new to show you all soon.

Unfortunately, I will be out of town on the 13th. Sorry I will miss the big meet. I vote for a Rochester convoy down to MAM on the evening of the 25th for the big FTL MAM track day on the 26th:

There's nobody "officially in charge" of picking times and places, so if you know you're gonna be someplace at a certain time (for best results, post at least a week ahead of time), just say where and when, and whoever can make it and wants to be there will show up.

(If everyone just hems&haws trying to figure out a date that EVERYONE can make it to, it'll end up not happening at all)

For best results, pick a spot that has something to see&do even if nobody else shows. (That's why I like the DQ-lot idea; even if you're all alone, you can chow down a hotdog and a Blizzard and watch the passing street rods while you wait)

 

That one's a "maybe" for me.

For those that didn't get a flyer in the mail, there are FREE "Down By The Riverside" summer concerts that happen 7pm on Sunday nights. Might be fun to park in the church lot on 11th & 3rd Southeast (or ??) and walk over to see the band.
(that's about 4 blocks away, but was as close as you could reliably get for the massive .38-Special concert last Sunday!)

So there is going to be a concert that sunday night? That would be a really good time. What type of music is that? It would be fun because we could meet up and then be able to have some where to go together.

 

I would really like to do this. However, I have a feeling August will be a very busy month for me. GF moving to Madison, weddings and all those other headaches. I can't make any promises.

Driving home last night from Minneapolis (picked up my wife at the airport), and I saw a freakin Ford GT on County Road 1, just south of Simpson. I came around a curve by the old mill down there, and there it was. Wow that is one hell of a sweet looking car. They always look so big in pictures, but when you see one on the road, it's a very small car and mean looking car. My wife's comment was, "Damn that's tiny, how the hell does someone even sit in that thing?"
