I vote we take a friday or saturday night to visit our Rochester peeps for a night cruise!!!

 

I just realized today how well my front end plows the snow.

Come on down Nathan, bringing offerings to appease the locals may be smart though!

 

I was thinking about mid. to late Feb. for Prokart I work every other weekend so I'd have off on the 9-11 or 23-25 plus I need some tme to scrape some cash together.

 

Who wants to do a meet this sunday? Say 3pm, maybe @ Newts or Beetles.

Ok!

Should have cleaned my wheels out a little better than I did after yesterday. On my way to work I had a massive imbalance and a lot of shaking.

 

No doubt, i hit 55 and my teeth started chattering. took me a minute to realize it was the ice. :laugh:

Sorry guys.....I won't be able to make Sunday. Tami has been gone most of the week for work so we're going to make a trip up to the Cities tomorrow to go to the St. Paul winter carnival.

I might be able to make it, but i'll be in milwaukee most of the weekend. The next weekend might work better.

You realize this first one is Easter weekend? No matter for you, you'll probably be in IA anyway. I'm going to have to pass on this one for now... besides, i have lot of work to get done on my car before track season.

 

Yeah....I haven't discussed with Tami yet but I figured if I went I could drop Tami off in Ames on Friday night and then go back to Ames after driving on Saturday.

I don't know why people insist on doing events like this on a family-type holiday weekend.

This might be the one and only time I'm jealous of someone from Iowa! LOL :O

 

I thought every frickin' cheesehead was supposed to be jealous of EVERYONE who was fortunate enough NOT to be a frickin' cheesehead.

I'm probably going to end up not going to this either. Not a good weekend for my Dad and not really that great of one for me either.

I'm contemplating the NASA event in Iowa at the end of April though.

Thanks for the tint guy's contact info.....this last couple of weeks has been crazy with all the snow. Right now the suby is burried behind about a million pounds of snow in the 3rd stall of my garage. I spent an hour this morning working on clearing that part of the driveway.....hope to finish up tonight so I can get the car out and drive it.

Yeah...I spent another 1-1/2 hours tonight digging out the side of the driveway that is in front of the stall that the suby was in. I spent an hour this morning too. Got enough snow moved that I could back it out and do a 12 point turn in the driveway and get it out! Yeah! Moved the Jeep into the 3rd stall and the Suby into the prime spot.

I need to get it in and have a couple of big door-dings removed and I'd really like to get the windows re-tinted. I'm also in the market for a used Accesport if anyone knows of one floating around.

I will have to get my suspension tightened up first. too much sway and I need to do my brakes. Hopefully this weekend. Any body up for a rotor/pad/fluid/line swap & paint calipers party?

 

Maybe you can wait until i get my rotors/pads from WRX1's brake group buy.

I think I need to do it asap. Otherwise I would wait til it's warm out since I have no garage.

 

Its getting nice out. Almost nice enough to do a BBQ or something. I may host one at the new place, we'll hafta see.
