finally we got some pics. nice work blackozone, nice to see you got em posted and nice shots by your girl.

aric you might need to stop by a hardware store and pic up some nuts and bolts for that adapter seeing as i had some but don't know where they are, i think bout a 10mm should do it, all and all it should work out

 

since nobody really talked bout it on sunday, we setting anything up for this weekend??? or are we looking at next weekend? same place? different???
anyone got any suggestions and/or opinions on the subject?

I think Aric and I are available this Sunday evening around the same time again. Probably someplace with ac too. Because it's going to be really fricken hot this weekend!! I'm cool with the same place. It seemed to work out for most everybody and there is plenty of parking room for more Subies to join this time!

as far as the meet binks is cool with me or if someone else wants to stop somwhere else thats fine. i gotta work till 6 i think so if i make it down there i'll be a lil later
but i know if something gets set up for next weekend i'ma be outta town at my bros wedding.....

how's this sound, let's do a grill out on 8-18. I will reserve a shelter in one of the parks and bring a grill (a second one may not be a bad idea) everybody can bring their own meat and sides etc.

Also maybe see if we can get some people from the metro to come on down.....

I'll give it some more thought today and see what else I can think of, maybe a group drive beforehand?

any suggestions as to park preference, things to do, blah blah blah... Post em up!

 

I would vote for meeting somewhere in town and convoying the back way to Whitewater State Park. Have to pay to play....but it's a nice drive. Otherwise if we want to stay in town Essex is nice.

I bike on Sunday evenings, so will not be available. Also gone up north for the 18th.
Second and third weekend are available if the BBQ plan changes.

I am down for a BBQ... however i dont really like the idea of going to whitewater because of lack of cell phone signal.... i say we head to winona and drive up to wabasha... have our picnic then take the back way home (hwy 60) nice and twisty... it would be a full day event but would be fun as hell!!
thoughts?

 

You plan your social life around whether the place in question has cell signal?

I'd be more interested in sticking around town then than doing the tour-de-countryside-with-cell-signal.

Pish! Right now my freaken car isn't even driveable!! And quite frankely I freaken HATE Clements!! They have been no help what so ever! If any of you guys here know anybody that could come to Rochester to look at my car that would be greatly appreciated! I made a thread about it since I'm freaken at the end of my rope! Who ever had this car before me really didn't treat it kindly because anything that they touched has snapped, frayed, kinked, broken or just plain missing!

 

No its somthin called a business cell phone.... and i just had a baby.. so its kinda important.. has nothin to do with social life.

Congrats on the new addition to the fam. Sorry i didnt make it out that Sunday I have been out of town and then been working some long hours to make up for it.
Just wondering what people are up to this weekend or what is going on in the area. I think this is my first free weekend in sometime.

I've got to run a couple of friends to the Mpls Airport but if ya'll are still there I can meet up later when I get back.

 

I was up there 2 weeks ago picking my bro up. I must have done 30 laps around the terminal, damn flight was 2 hours late.

I stopped by to see if anybody else was there, Applebee's was packed and I didn't see any Subaru's so I bailed after 15 min or so.

Didn't think too many would show with such short notice....

 

So we can push for next Sunday. Someone could reserve some tables ahead of time to try and make it so not everyone has to wait. Assuming everyone still want Applebee's. What about Newt's?

Sorry...we went camping Saturday night and I was wiped Sunday night as a result.

That's the problem with Crappalbees....ya always gotta wait....and then the food is just....ok!

Newts has awesome food....but it's so frickin' small that if you time it wrong....ya wait....especially if you have a big group...the tables are all small.

Not to continue my whinny ways....but Sunday's will be tough during the summer for me....we like to go down to the Down-by-the-Riverside concert....as long as it isn't the fruitcake concert band.
