First of all.... i apologize for my childish behavior..... Second of all, i think binks north is a great idea. Ill be doin a fuel pump and strut install at my house most of the day but i live a block away, so i will be there. Anyone care to help/join me during festivities at my house????

 

careful with the gasket that seals the fuel pump to the tank. I'm pretty sure I messed mine up and also sheared one of the 8 mounting bolts.

if i'm in town this weekend I'll try to make it to Binks. - that's as good as i can do for now.

 

Is the pump pretty hard? I dont wanna mess stuff up.

 

no, actually its pretty easy. should take half hour to an hour tops.

Don't want to be a hand raiser, but as of now, I do not have any plans. Should be able to make it, if no emergencies come up.

I haven't done the fuel pump but I've done struts on my wagon. The lower strut nuts on the rear are a W_H_O_R_E! Lube the crap out of them way before if you can. The one is very hard to get and and get any leverage. I ended up cutting one of mine off with a dremel and a cold chisel. An impact is ideal but we did mine with hand tools.

I have a nice 1/2 drive breaker bar and 19mm impact sockets - and a 2.5 ft length of pipe that works nicely!

 

^^^ they shouldnt be that bad... we just did the entire STI swap like 2months ago. I hopin all will go well. Thanks i will more then likely need help/tools to get the job done.

 

I am 50:50 for Sunday, I am just not sure if I may have to work. Hopefully I will see you there.

A little later would work better for Lynn and I to show up tomorrow. How long are you guys planning on sticking around? We'd like to be there around 6-630 and order food.

If the weather is decent then I'm going to bolt between 6 and 6:30 and go down to the Down by the Riverside Concert. If the weather is crappy I could potentially hang around.

I will be there for awhile... as long as the food is hot and the beer cold.... i aint goin no where.

 

I think the only real reason we went outside last time was because after 90 minutes the waitress brought the check out.

And we wanted to stare at each others cars.

 

We decided to skip the concert....so I'll be there for a while.

Actually I run machinery and mangae a small group in a factory. Meat Popsicle sounds sooo much better though.

 

That is strange! I'm sure I could have had class with you. Had most of the same folks in all my classes. Did you have Slack when you started?

 

I didnt take a class with him, but did with Steve Case, Veltsos, Quaid, and I worked in CSL and ACC. So im sure we've bumped into each other before.

I plan to see how much I can get done saturday. Prolly start around 11 with the fuel filter and Trans fluid @ the place my friend works. Then plugs, Utec, Down pipe, horns. Still plan to have somebody do the uppipe.

At least thats the plan right now. Help is appreciated and usually paid for in beer.
