I want the nano-thingys that stopped the bullets and kept the Edge from laying a scratch on the rustang during the crash. I would actually only use it to prevent door dings though. So was that a premier for a new show....or a two hour frickin' Ford add? I actually liked the show by the way....but then again....I was around for the original. :emo: Steve
i'm not really a big fan of those style wings, but that one is decent lookin, plus i have seen them on bugeyes before online and on dvd's and they look pretty good, so if thats the one ya want, hook it up.... oh and if your sti wing bolts up to a gc you might as well give it to me since its w.r. blue already... if you put it on aric's car theres the prep work painting and all that.... and lets be honest no one wants to work so just send it my way and we'll all be happy!
Is anyone familiar with throndson oil here in town? If not i suggest you give them a shot. It has a lil bit higher octane then 92 by it is non oxygenated so it is way better for your car also uses less ethanol. I got like 6mpg better on the first tank and like 8mpg better on the 2nd and it has been consistant ever since. I am very happy with the results so far. Give them a shot. also 4cents off a gallon if you pay cash!!!
Thats where both Nabil and I go for gas, its usually 93 octane but every once in a while it'll only be 92.8. Was @3.17 per gallon the other day.
I never carry cash! So anybody who tries robbing me will be outta luck and will prolly be knocked out by my heavy fricken purse! Hey Josh.. You'll never guess what I got in the mail today. The people accidently sent me another of it! Little hint. (carbon fiber and has a rabbit on it)
I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with it yet. But it was a nice suprise to get in the mail today!
For Arics Birthday I got him a carbon fiber rabbit emblem. And it took a really long time to get. So I e-mailed and faxed the place to complain that I had never gotten it. So they sent me a replacement emblem. Come yesterday I got the original one in the mail. It was shipped from them on Janurary 15!
Thanks for filling me in. That would look sweet on the 'ol Ridgeline! I like your wing choice. It's different. I'm not a huge fan of the oem ironing board STI wings. Are you going to get the wing? Steve
When I save up the money I would really like to buy it. For the most part I don't like those style wings. Only certian cars can pull it off. But I think this one is a nice choice and it would look good on my car! But I need new tires before I go buying new things!!!
Does anyone want to do some traveling for a get together? I.E. BREWERY TOUR!? The 3 closest are: Schell in New Ulm, City in LaCrosse, Leinenkugel's in Chippewa Falls. oops, forgot Summit in St. Paul. interest? discussion?
hmmmm, i will have to try this surly beer. :yumyum: As for the beer tour, I have been thinking this would be a good idea as well. I personally wouldnt mind doing Leinenkugels or Summit. Would do any of them though.
FYI Leinie's is about 2 hours away, so it's a bit of a hike. I've taken the tour there already, it's pretty decent, the gift shop is worth the trip. - 2 free ~9oz. beers of the 4 or so they have on tap. I've also taken the City Brewery tour (LaCrosse) several times. Its big, and the beer is good there too, even if you haven't heard of any of it. If I remember correctly, you get served 6 samples (~5oz) free after the tour and $3 for the second serving. My vote would be for Summit. It's pretty close so we're not driving the whole day. And we could open the invitation to everyone up there too.
I've been to Miller in Milwaukee and Budweiser in St. Louis. Also been to the Denver beer festival...that was amazing! You wouldn't believe the size of the warehouses at Miller.....holy **** they are huge. I'm in for a trip to Summit! Steve
Summit is still "OK" but Surly is more gooderer. Interestingly, both have close ties to my alma mater Macalester College. What I'm trying to say is we know good beer. My waistline is proof positive! Surly has an awesome tour on Saturdays. If we get a crew together I HIGHLY recommend a trip to the Happy Gnome, fka Chang O'Haras in St. Paul - http://www.thehappygnome.com/main.html - simply the best purveyor of beers in Da Shiddies. You have not consumed beer until you've had a Delirium Tremens on draught. Here - http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/180/1385; or here - http://www.delirium.be/Anglais/Histoire/histoire.htm Simply glorious.
A Beer tour doesn't sound like something I will go to. I'll sit that one out! Steve- I sent you a pm. But I'm sure you check this daily! If you want to meet up tonight to sell me that audio stuff I'm down. I pmed you my phone number. Let me know.
Hey, with the warmer weather just around the corner (month or so from now), I was wondering if there was interest to do a big group install weekend or something. I have some stereo stuff to do in the next week or 3 and some other stainless steel goodies that need to go on my car. we could get together, drink a beer and put all the parts we have been saving for warmer weather onto the rides. Also if you need tires, discount tire south is having a $100 off grand opening sale or something. (thanks Brad for letting everybody know.....). I just bought a set of Yokohama S.Drives, WOOT!
Aric got new tires yesterday with that awsome deal! Yes ++1 for a group install! I have spark plugs &fuel filter to put in and I am sure Aric has lots of goodies to put into his beast!
All I have is Uppipe, downpipe, and brakelines. If enough people have enough stuff to do it may take 2 days :dunno:
So no to Delorean? I could to it myself in 1 day, with beer 2 days. You don't have a garage, do you? I will offer mine, but its quite cramped. We'll see once it warms up a little more outside.
well on the beer tour i dunno, i usually gotta work alot and need to know way ahead of time.... so i dunno if i'd be in or not... if the sun shines on a dogs a$$ that day sure but no promises. as far as the install day, i for sure need to get strut mounts all the way around and i'd like to get different springs for my car but this all costs money, which working at advance is something i don't have... so most likely no goodies on my car, cept if i hold off and throw my rims on that day... and if that happens josh better not be staring at my butt cuz thats creepy.... but other then that i'd be willing to help out on others cars where needed.....
I will volunteer my garage. A Saturday or Sunday thing starting in the morning??? I have one qualification though.....wrench.....then beer.....climbing under cars on jack stands with booze involved is a bad combination in book. Sorry to be an old fock. I think each participant should bring a six pack of their favorite to pass. I would supply soda and such. Let's figure out a date. By the way....I'm only volunteering my space because I hear twistid has a nice ass to stare at! Per Josh anyway! Steve
I would offer my garage. However, I still live at home and my dad builds mantels and cabinets in his garage so anything that's parked in the driveway is covered with saw dust! And I'm not allowed to park in the driveway anymore because they think my car is too loud. ~Could I bring Kool-Aid instead of beer? Steve- It was nice meeting Norm! And I really like your truck. That would be the only truck I would ever be caught driving. (not a truck fan) Oh or a monster truck, I'd drive that! As for everybody else. You seriously wouldn't want me tagging along on the beer tour. I'd only go if the big Budwiser horses were there! Otherwise, I'd prolly whine the whole time!
Straight up kool aid! You know the big red glass jug with the smiley face that bursts through doors shouting "Oh Yeah!" :yumyum:
