I had a ton of fun at the Lax cruise last year. I'm excited that more of the Rochester people will be going this year!!.... I need to buy a new camera soon so I can take lots of pics!

 

Yeah, is anything going on this weekend? If not I'll probably be heading to Madison. I would like to switch out my brakepads to the hp+'s and bleed them so I can hit that hpde at BlackhawkFarms Memorial weekend - Lynn says that's a waste of gas... I'm going to struggle to convince her this summer to let me go to these hpdes.

I talked with josh on friday and the plan will be to head to zumbrota and "ambush" the other group as they pass through

 

Are we going to meet them at Zumbrota this time or wait for them to drive trough before we get there!?

 

Well we should all meet @ Hy-vee Barlow again and then head up to Zumbrota as a group. That seems like the best idea.

I would really appreciate it if I could pick up that sway bar w/in the next week. It's almost been three months. I don't have your number and I've given you mine two or three times now to call me so we can arrange a place to meet. I don't want to pester you at work because that is not something I'm comfortable with. I've pmed you a couple of times. Even given you my work schedule and you know where Aric lives as well. HOW DO I GET AHOLD OF YOU TO GET THIS!
I understand your busy and all but I was told I could get this anytime but then it seems like your never to be found. I'm not trying to be a ***** but I wanted to suprise Aric by getting it for him because I know how much he wants it. I would agree w/ you there! I get really excited when he comes to my house. Last week when they delivered my exhaust we missed him and he left a note on my door so Aric and I prowled the neighborhood for him. We found a ups guy but not "my" ups guy! :biggrin:

Yup, still alive, been working on the car some. When is the next meet?

It took me a bit of time to get the car on the road, was up on jack stands in my garage for more than a month. I started off just wanting to swap the springs on the coilovers to some linear springs rather than the progressive ones which were a little unpredictable on the track. I wound up refurbishing the coilovers and converting them to the RCE tarmac 2 specifications. Then I added pillowball mounts to the rears.

I had ordered the ACPT carbon fiber driveshaft during a group buy on IWSTI.com which conveniently came in while the car was up on stands. So slapped that on.

When doing that, I noticed that all four rotors were cracked and thin. So I ordered two piece floating rotors up front (girodisc) and DBA slotted rears.

Then had to get it realigned.

Today I put on a v-limited lip.

Now I am ready to thrash it some. Anyone interested in going to some HPDEs at MAM this summer? Dates are listed at findtheline.com
