Anyone know if any place would be open on Monday to install my new tires??? I almost don't want to go to Discount tire North because of the way I've been treated there. I'm sure they'll try to add on some unnecessary fees. I was thinking about Tires Plus or Firestone.

somethings wrong and i have a small cruise with minimal twistys but sufficient scenery..from here to winona...is that where youre going with this or are you just missing us and you want to come back?

 

rochester cruise would be cool as hell, however i dunno what kinda cruise it would be for the locals seeing as there isn't much for great roads to cruise, unless josh and aric come through with a glorious route towards winona..... besides that i'm still wondering if anyone will be giving me a heads up on the event if it happens seeing as everyone must have lost my number in their phone and doesn't text when shenanigans are occurring..... cough cough josh cough cough aric cough cough firestone last friday on my day off cough cough cough cough cough........

 

Shut your mouth! You're always working and if you aren't your always at your parents! Aric and Josh know of some really fun roads! We went last year and it was a blast. Very pretty looking at all the colorful trees! Next time we do something we'll let you know Jason!

Well, I'd like to try my tires out this Saturday morning on a little cruise over to Viroqua, WI (need to pick up something). If anyone wants to tag along we can take the long route and/or stop by LaCrosse City brewery on the way back.

Yo Aric, good seeing you today at the shop, sorry I couldn't stay longer. Still thinking about doing that tat I sent you the picture for, funds are low right now though like I said. I have a couple other ideas I want to run past you too.

Pat~ I should be around this weekend if you want me to try to flash your car, I have the cable from the forester and everything should be ready to go. Only thing I would be out of town for would be Saturday to potentially go pick up a car in the cities if they take my offer.

I need to start hanging out with everyone locally from the board more, I've been kind of a troglodyte the last couple months. No wheels also doesn't help, though hopefully that will change soon. I've been working my ass off though, so at least the bills are getting paid. I get a few days vaca soon though, going down to Nebraska for some Karate seminars for 3 days, should be a blast.

Pat~ Friday or Saturday night both should be fine for me, just give me a call and we can work something out. You may have to come pick me up though. :hsugh:

I have to work all Saturday, so I'm counted out on that one.

As for Sunday. We will be meeting at our place around 10-10:30 am. Then we'll head up to the renaissance fest. Those of you who gave me $ to get you tickets- I'll have them for you. Anybody else who wants to go will need to get their own ticket but you are all more then welcome to come! We don't plan on spending ALL day up there seeing as some of us have to work Monday morning.

 

I'll give you a call Friday night.

Well, this might be TMI or people might find it hilarious so here we go.....

I was harvesting some Habanero peppers off of my plants on my deck tonight and decided to try a tiny sliver to see how hot they were. They definitely have a nice apricot-like fruity flavor to start and you can literally taste the capsaicin starting to build in your mouth. It doesn't hit you until after you swallow the pepper though, and when I did it was like a mini fireball came out my mouth. This was just a 2mm x 15mm sliver of the thing too. Well I rinsed my hands off (didn't use soap, d'oh) and did a couple other things making dinner. Well I had to use the restroom so naturally I went and came back to prep for dinner. We'll just say that about 5 minutes later I'm now sitting here with a whole new appreciation for the term "fire crotch". :laugh:

Sadest part is that it isn't the first time it's happened to me. :eek3:

anyone else have experience with Uptown Firestone's Lifetime alignment? Seems to me they just throw it up on the machine and see if its "within spec" and call it good. My car pulls slightly right and the steering wheel is turned right - they didn't change anything! I don't want to wear out a set of good tires so quickly again!

Tomorrows plan: Meet at our house at 10:30ish am. And then drive up to the Ren fest!! We can all ride w/ Zeus in the Blazer or we can take two cars. If we take two cars Aric and Zeus will be in one (no back seats in his car) and if you want to drive Josh- Melissa and I will ride with you. We will be meeting Curly and maybe Laura up there! We can hang out up there untill everybody is ready to go. If you want we can dilly dally around afterwards or just come straight home. Doesn't matter to me!

Curly: I'll call you when we leave Roch.

Again, if anybody else wants to go feel free to come along you will just need to get tickets. You can meet us there or drive along with us.

 

Heading out to Walser Subaru in the cities here shortly to basically be buying the 2005 Outback 2.5i Limited I looked at last week! I have one leftover renfest ticket to burn that I bought last weekend as well. Actually, I might be able to get some freebies from Walser (was told I could get some). Possibility for me to come with?
