Nice numbers pat! Your car feels strong on the street. We'll get it fine-tuned soon enough, you can see the results of the boost spike on spool up in your dyno graph.

yeah, you can really see it peak and fall off 4 or 5 times on each pull. You can also see it in the AF ratio on the bottom. Any idea what my IDCs are? I think they were around 65% before. maybe we go for more boost and a test pipe - we'll crack 300 on that dyno!

No new mods, we just had a dyno day so I wanted to see what it was doing - I'm pretty happy with the numbers, but it is a high reading dyno.

easy dyno or not your car is making more tq relatively which is nice- probably a function of your exhaust compared to my ebay piping with no cats job?

I sort of wanted to attend that event, but my C43 had some fueling problems (fixed with a new modified Pierburg pump)

Well, that's up to everyone here I think.
We can meet up for breakfast first and then leave or just all meet up in Zumbrota.
We'll need to be there by 10.
What are people's thoughts? I'd like breakfast first, but that's me.

I'm with you Lee. Breakfast and coffee sounds good and then we can gather as a group.

Steve... New Steve. You better come to this. Same goes for those of you Rochester people that don't have to work. It would be nice if a large majority of the Rochester crew showed up.

I guess I should introduce myself here, as I am a proud owner of a Subaru now :)

    The short:

My names Bob, im 20 and I work at Mayo. My first car was a 96 Mustang GT, and it was fun while it lasted. It has since sat in the garage for a good while now..it needs a clutch and I havent had the ambition to put one in. A year ago, I bought a 05 Gsx-r 600, and rode the crap out of it, and recently traded it in on a 08 Gsx-r 750.

Two months ago, I started looking for a new vehicle, and I stumbled across the 08 WRX 5 door and fell in love with it. I had always enjoyed subarus, and i had a good opportunity to pick one up. However, Clements wouldnt work with me for a damn, so I started looking for a new dealership. I called Bloomington Subaru, and started to enquire about the 08s. The sales lady started talking to me about waiting for an 09, and mentioned the boost in horsepower and torque. I decided to order one, and was told that it would be a good 6 to 8 weeks until it arrived. I was hoping to make it up on thursday evening to pick it up, but we couldnt make arrangements until Saturday evening.

I've only put 200 miles on it since then, and have loved every second of it!

I'll post up pictures later, as soon as I get some snapped.

I believe I'm the only Satin White Pearl 09 around here, because Clements hasn't recieved any 09s yet.

If you see me, feel free to stop and chat, or wave. Whatever melts your butter.

    Bob

Random aside: I just dropped my Super Nintendo off at the local Vintage gaming company next to the rec center to see if they can fix it. It stopped putting out sound/display about a month ago and I've been having a total SNES craving that has gone unsated! I also need to pick up a new N64 console so I can play zelda on it. Man that game was fun.

Im pretty sure I have a SNES and a N64 laying around somewhere, probably in a box from the move. Come to think of it, I have an original Nintendo, and a Sega Genesis somewhere too.

Yeah, let me check and see if I have all the appropriate cords and what not, or do you have those, and just need the consoles? I know where all the consoles are, but I cant guarantee that I have all the connections and what not.

I just need the consoles for the SNES/N64. I would need the power/RF out for the NES and also the cables for the Sega. However if you can't find them easily I can buy some online for cheap too, it's not a big deal. From what it sounds like, my SNES gave up the ghost and is fried. Truely a sad deal, that system gave me almost 20 solid years of HARD play. Oh well, memorial service at my apartment tomorrow night....... Let me know when I can pick them up, I'd love to get my hands on a new SNES console ASAP.

EDIT: I would also need the controllers too.

So I found my NES, and my genesis, but at the moment my SNES is MIA. It looks like I have 2 controllers for my genesis, and about 10 games.

I have 2 controllers and a gun for my NES and about 10 or so games as well.

I'll keep looking for the SNES and the N64

EDIT: I found the n64 with 3 controllers, and about a half dozen games, along with a Game shark. I found the power cord, and the AV out stuff as well.

I found the SNES, along with one of those cannon dealies, 2 controllers, and about a dozen games...I didnt count. I also have the power cord and the RF thing too.

Where is a good place to buy paint for my stock wheels here in town? And how much do I need? Fleet farm had some paint and primer but I don't know what brand. Can someone suggest stuff they've used (Mano)? I need to get my winter tires on soon - obviously because it's sleeting out now.

I used Duplicolor wheel primer, paint, and clear on mine.
1 can of each per wheel would be quite sufficient.
I found that AutoZone has pretty cheap paints.
Make sure you scruff the surface up well before painting on.
You might want to use adhesion promoter to help.
If you want a really good paint job, you should look into the writeups that Mixx has done.

Spraypainting the lights is not a great idea, as the paint will likely just flake or peel off.
Better, try to source yourself some red tint (ala Rockblocker) and cut that to fit.
