was thinking suspension, coilovers maybe but i don't know much about that stuff yet

any advice?

 

Get a tune with those mods (usually costs at least a little bit).
Otherwiese, sways are the best bang-for-your-buck mod by way of suspension. If you have enough for some springs/struts, do those at the same time.

 

depending on how much you have to spend, go the way of suspension if you enjoy going out and doing some spirited driving, or look into cams and a i-speed reflash... theres a few guys on 25rs.com that i talk with that have the same set up as you with the cams and flash that can hold their own against a wrx, and say that it makes for a great car driving in town and on the highway.....

struts,springs and sways you'll be looking around 800 or so new (give or take a few hundred depending on what brands you go with)
used you can get quite a bit cheaper then that

cams and reflash, as long as your a shoc motor which i think you were, will be around 6-700, but then you got to add in costs of putting in the cams if you can't, and you'll be down a car for a few weeks....

i personally would recomend the suspension, because you can put that on over a weekend and you will most likely be alot happier with the response in the car, and you won't have to be without the old girl for the few weeks

excellent choice on the agx's.... i love my set... though, words of advice, leave them at the lowest/softest setting when just tooling around town, they're still stiffer then the stockers, but not bad... i set them up once all the way at the stiffest setting and my god is it uncomfortable ride just going for a cruise across town or whatever.... leave the max settings for the days you plan on hitting corners

I think Aric has the day off as well! Earlier in the day I think we are heading out to where the wrx is parked and we're going to swap the green rims and the wrx rims around so he has good tires to drive around on. Otherwise, we have no plans yet!!

 

well they guy with the car is busy all Sunday booo! only other day i could come is Monday after work...or Wednesday but Mr.Bill will be there Tues to look at it and well I need to see it before he does so I can beat Mr. Dave. LOL

Does anybody here know who drives the white 2door 2.5rs?
Debadged trunk, the thing that stuck out the most to me was the hood vents!! They don't look like the stock vents or maybe it's a different hood?!

I've seen it three times now. Early in the morning it pulls into the horseshoe out front of the hotel and pulls back onto the street. Very clean looking.


Also... I see Trborex driven by everyday!

i've seen the white one on a # of occasions but don't know whos it is, i thought lee said someone he works with has a 2.5rs but that might have have been a while ago, and i guess i never seen the hood vents so i dunno there...


and yes aric works at rochester tattoo now with my wife... ohh and he has a SWEEEEEETTTTTTTTTT A$$ !!!!!!!!!!!

 

The white 2.5RS that I work with had CA plates until last month.
It's got an STI badge on the trunk and some /!\ symbol in the rear window.

i love that i can drive like a mile down broadway from my apartment and see two other of the rochester rs's. aric's was parked out front at rochester tattoo as well.

 

The white rs needs to join the rochester group! It is one hot car!

I like seeing Arics car out front of Rochester Tattoo as well! It's a good feeling that it's in a "good neighborhood" (other 2.5s looking out for it)

 

aric's rs is lucky mine allows it in the "hood"... my rs had to help with the all to familiar gang rape initiation so his is "down"

yes my car gave it to aric's car... right in the tailpipe!!!!!

the initiation is why i have dual 4inch tips and you only have the 3 jasons car is the butch.

also i used to see the white gc with cali plates all the time over by kfc and 52,also i used to see it parked in a driveway near silver lake i believe.

and theres an 02 wrb wrx that needs a new front end (hood,bumper,both headlights..grill..and probably everything else behind that) with the same c-west style wing as josh and some jank ass tailights on it across from soldiers field and snappy stop..i saw it parked off to the side a few days ago.

 

i think they swapped out the nasty tailights to the black wrx they have there as well. the black one is an 03.

guy said he would sell the blue 02 as is for 3000(supposedly what he payed for it)

black one is 9,000

if anyone cares hehe

how much work would need to be done to it(engine-wise)? did you look at it good? my friend was thinkin of buying it and using it as a project for us to work on (both noobs but wanna learn!). i told him neither of us knew enough about engines to spend 3000 on something that might just be a pos

both are stamped titles...

black one got rediculously curbed or something, both hubs/control arm/ball joints or all of the above were trashed on the one side... half a$$ fixed and thrown up for sale at what a clean title is at.... blah!!!!!!

wrb one is major front end damage... dunno to what extent if any motor damage, but i'm thinking probably good chance, since the timing cover was busted up if i recall corectly....

i deal with the owner of the place frequently... 3k in my opinion is to much if the motors got damage to it, if not.... might be something to consider

... And I don't know about pink camo... But somthing other then the leaves.. I get alot of old honkey farts wearing camo hats and jackets checking the wagon out. Pretty uncomfortable. So flat black might be the safe choice come summer.

I'm going to get the windshield fixed next month and then in April I'll probably get the windows tinted. :yumyum: ....And the stickers will be coming off. There are like 3 or 4 pedo bears on there.. I thought there were only a couple but I keep finding them!
And it needs a good scrubbing on the inside and out!.. New front seats would be good and it needs some carpet. I'm thinking of keeping the rear seats out and just laying down some carpet so that we can haul stuffs! :biggrin:


Also: Rochester Peoples coming with us to IHOP on the 26th (Arics B-Day):
We will meet you all around 11-11:30 am in the North Best Buy parking lot. From there we will head out! If you are past 11:30... you better drive a bit faster to catch up because we are not going to wait around for you. I've made reservations so we have a table saved.

...... Josh, can you come by our house insead of Best Buy. I will ride with you since Aric and Zeus are going in the Blazer. And the Blazer only seems to fit two people most times. :hsugh:
